ABSTRACT The present study examines the narrative modes and thematic dimensions of The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born by Ayi Kwei Armah. The work has an important place in the general body of the postcolonial African literature, because it is an outstanding example to explore the new literary tendencies and stylistic issues handled by the contemporary African novelists. Throughout this study, my goal was to analyze Armah's colorful imagination, powerful expressive techniques, and his adroitness in embodying political themes in the general framework of the novel. IV
