SUMMARY In the 18th century, classical literature completely went away from the Iran literature's influences. The convertions in the social life influenced the literature too and in i this century several skilled poets weren't brought up except Nedim and Şeyh Galib. İn the 18th century the literature approached to the pleasure of the public. Among the Turkish society of the 18th century, Halvetianship was the most common dervish order. Having a lot of dervish lodge and lots of the Ottoman Sultan's being related to this dervish order make Halvetianship attractive. Şeyh Hasan Vuslat Efendi who lived in the 1 8th century is a sheikh who is related to Halveti Tarikat too. The subjects that he based on in his poems are religious and mystical. The language that he used can be thought as simple. He seems to have poems which are close to Yunus Emre's style. By the help of the research of Vuslati Divanı, it's concluded that simple expressions replaced complicated and hard ones. In the 18th century Turkish poem acquired its own identity by going away from the foreign influences. 429
