Özet

Bu çalışma, Siyer öğretiminde memnuniyeti belirleyen faktörleri analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, öğrencilerin Siyer dersinin hangi konularını daha önemli bulduklarını; öğrencilerin cinsiyetlerinin, okul türlerinin ve okul kademelerinin, Siyer öğretiminden duydukları memnuniyetlerine etkisinin olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Önceki çalışmalarda bu konu ders içerikleri kapsamında teorik çerçevede ele alınmıştır. Az sayıdaki saha çalışmasında ise sınırlı sayıda örneklem kullanılmış ve daha çok öğretmen görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Öğrenci görüşleri ile yapılan çalışmalarda ise yüzdesel analizlerle yetinilmiştir. Bu çalışmada ise, araştırmanın uygulama alanı olarak Şanlıurfa ili seçilmiş ve en az bir dönem siyer dersini almış 698 ortaokul ve lise öğrencisine yüz yüze anket uygulanmıştır. Katılımcılar, imam hatip ve normal okul türlerinden; ortaokul ve liseden; kız ve erkek öğrencilerden oluşmakta, bu çeşitlilik aracılığıyla farklı demografik değişkenlerin memnuniyet düzeylerine etkisi karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmektedir. Araştırmanın kavramsal çerçevesinde siyer dersi altı ana başlık altında kategorize edilmiştir: Peygamberlik öncesi dönem, Hz. Peygamber'in savaşları, Hz. Peygamber'in aile hayatı, Hz. Peygamber'in insani ilişkileri, Hz. Peygamber'in fiziksel özellikleri ve Hz. Peygamber'in sıfatlarıdır. Bu kategoriler üzerinden öğrencilerin memnuniyetleri ve ilgi düzeyleri ölçülmüştür. Çalışmada kullanılan değişkenler STATA programında test edilmiş ve regresyon analizleriyle değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre erkek öğrencilerin kız öğrencilere, ortaokul öğrencilerinin lise öğrencilerine göre, siyer öğretiminden daha memnun oldukları görülmüştür. Ayrıca normal okul öğrencilerinin, imam hatip öğrencilerine göre siyer öğretiminden daha memnun oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır. Siyer öğretiminden memnuniyette imam hatip ortaokulu erkek öğrencileri en öndedir. Hz. Peygamber'in aile hayatını kız öğrenciler daha çok önemserken, her iki cinsiyet grubuna göre, Hz. Peygamber'in fiziksel özellikleri daha az ilgi görmektedir. Elde edilen bulgular, siyer öğretiminin içerik ve yöntem bakımından nasıl geliştirilebileceğine dair önerilere zemin oluşturacaktır.

This study aims to analyze the factors determining satisfaction in Siyer teaching. The aim of the study is to reveal which subjects of the Siyer course students find more meaningful and necessary, and whether students' gender, school types and school levels have an effect on their satisfaction with Siyer teaching. Previous studies have dealt with this issue in a theoretical framework within the scope of course contents. In the few field studies, a limited number of samples were used and mostly teacher opinions were used. In the studies conducted with student opinions, percentage analyses were sufficient. In this study, Şanlıurfa province was chosen as the application area of the research and a face-to-face questionnaire was applied to 698 middle and high school students who had taken Siyer course at least one semester. The participants consisted of male and female students from imam hatip and regular school types, and through this diversity, the effects of different demographic variables on satisfaction levels were comparatively analyzed. In the conceptual framework of the study, the Siyer course was categorized under six main headings: Pre-Prophetic period, Prophet Muhammad and his wars, Prophet Muhammad and his family life, Prophet Muhammad and his human relations, Prophet Muhammad and his physical characteristics, and Prophet Muhammad and his attributes. Students' satisfaction was measured through these categories. The variables used in the study were tested in the STATA program and evaluated with the relevant regression analyses. According to the results obtained, it was seen that male students were more satisfied with siyar teaching than female students and middle school students were more satisfied with siyar teaching than high school students. It was also found that regular school students were more satisfied with siyar teaching than imam hatip students. In terms of satisfaction with siyar teaching, imam hatip middle school male students are at the forefront. While the Prophet's family life is more important to female students, the Prophet's physical characteristics are of less interest to both gender groups. The findings will form the basis for suggestions on how to improve Siyer teaching in terms of content and methodology.
