Özet

Bu tez, Türkiye'deki devlet üniversitelerinde lisans düzeyinde sanat eğitimi veren bölümlerin seramik ve heykel derslerinde sayısal ortam kullanımını incelenerek bu alanlara sayısal modelleme teknolojilerinin entegrasyonuna yönelik yöntem ve içerik önerileri geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma, nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan temellendirilmiş kuram (grounded theory) yaklaşımı doğrultusunda yapılandırılmıştır. Araştırmada, ülke genelinde Güzel Sanatlar Fakülteleri ile Eğitim Fakültelerine bağlı Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi bölümlerinin ders içerikleri doküman analizi yoluyla değerlendirilmiş; çağdaş üretim teknolojilerinin sanat eğitimi programlarındaki yeri araştırılmıştır. Tezde ele alınan temel problem, seramik ve heykel derslerinin halen büyük oranda geleneksel yöntemlere dayalı olması ve üç boyutlu modelleme, fotogrametri ve 3B baskı teknolojilerinin eğitim süreçlerine sistematik biçimde entegre edilmemesidir. Bu bağlamda araştırmacı, Blender, Cinema4D ve Agisoft Metashape gibi programlar aracılığıyla uygulamalı modelleme ve tarama süreçleri gerçekleştirmiş; üretilen sayısal modeller, PLA filament kullanılarak 3B yazıcılarla fiziksel prototiplere dönüştürülmüş, ardından bu prototiplerden alçı ve teksir kalıpları oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular, sayısal üretim teknolojilerinin yalnızca teknik üretim sürecini değil, aynı zamanda kavramsal düşünmeyi, üretim planlamasını ve pedagojik yeterliliği de desteklediğini göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, sayısal modelleme ve üretim teknolojilerinin sanat eğitimi programlarına bütüncül biçimde dâhil edilmesi önerilmekte; bu kapsamda öğretim programlarının yeniden yapılandırılması, teknik altyapıların güçlendirilmesi ve öğretim elemanlarına yönelik hizmet içi eğitimlerin artırılması gerektiği vurgulanmaktadır.

This thesis aims to develop method and content suggestions for the integration of digital modeling technologies into ceramics and sculpture courses in undergraduate art education departments in state universities in Turkey by examining the use of digital media. The study is structured in line with the grounded theory approach, which is one of the qualitative research designs. In the research, the course contents of Fine Arts Faculties and Fine Arts Education departments affiliated to Education Faculties throughout the country were evaluated through document analysis; the place of contemporary production technologies in art education programs was investigated. The main problem addressed in the thesis is that ceramics and sculpture courses are still largely based on traditional methods and three-dimensional modeling, photogrammetry and 3D printing technologies are not systematically integrated into the education processes. In this context, the researcher carried out applied modeling and scanning processes using programs such as Blender, Cinema 4D and Agisoft Metashape; the produced digital models were converted into physical prototypes with 3D printers using PLA filament, and then plaster and mimeograph molds were created from these prototypes. The findings show that digital production technologies support not only the technical production process but also conceptual thinking, production planning and pedagogical competence. As a result, it is recommended that digital modeling and production technologies be integrated into art education programs in a holistic manner; within this scope, it is emphasized that curriculum should be restructured, technical infrastructures should be strengthened and in-service training for faculty members should be increased.
