Birinci yöntem olarak Michael is- Ar buzov reaksiyonu ile tetra etil metilen bis fosfonat [(C2H50)2P(0)CH2P(0)(OCzH5)2] (1) sentezlendl Sentezlenen bu bileşik HC1 İle hidroliz edilerek metilenbisfosfonik asit [(OH)zP(0)CH2P(0)(OH)2] (2) elde edildi İkinci yöntem olarak Mannİcb reaksiyonu ile a m i noa I kilen bisfosfonik asitler [RN(CH2P(OKOH)2)2] ((3) ve (4)) hazırlandı. ABSTRACT Master's Thesis SYNTHESIS AND INVESTIGATIONS ON THE COMPLEXES OF BIS-PHOSPOHONIC ACIDS Oya ALTMIŞDÖRT Ankara University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Chemistry Supervisor : Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamza YILMAZ Jury : Prof. Dr. Zeynel KILIÇ Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamza YILMAZ Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurcan KARACAN Various phosphonlc acids were synthesized through three different routes. Tetra ethyl methylene bis phosphonate [(C2HsO)2P(0)CH2P(0)(OC2Hs)2] (1) was prepared by Michaelis- Arbuzsov method. This compound was hydrolized with aquaeous HCI to give methylene bis phosphorite acid, I(OH)2P(0)CH2P(OXOH)2] (2). Mannich reaction was utilized for the preparation of two different amino alkylene bis phosphonic acids, namely, methylaminomethylene bis phosphonic acid, [H3C - N [CH2P(0)(OH)2]2] (3), and benzylamino methylene bis phosphonic acid [0 - CH2 - N [CH2P(0)(OH)z]2] (4). The addition reaction of alkyl and acylchlorides to phosphonic acid was iiimade use of in the synthesis of mono-and bisphosphonic acids. The compounds prepared İn this way were of the formula [(OH)2P(0)CH2CH2COOHJ (5) and [(OH)2P(0)CH2CH2COP(0)(OH)2] (6). The phosphonic acids (3) and (4) were treated with Cu(NOj)2» Mg(NOj)i, Ca(NOj)2, and Ni(NOj)2 to give corresponding metal compounds in tetrahydrofurane/methanol media. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by elemental analysis and, IR-, 'H-NMR-,3,P-NMR- spectroscopic studies. 2000, III pages
