SİPAHİ,Ahmet Rufai, Sorgun Yöresi Halk İnanışları Üzerine Karşûaştırmalı Bir Araştırma (Farklı Köy örnekleri), Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Danışman:Yra\Doç.Dr. Mehmet KATAR, 125s. ÖZET Din insanlık tarihi kadar eski bir olgudur.Hk insanla beraber ortaya çıkmış, tarihin her döneminde varlığını ve etkisini devam ettirmiştir, insanın bireysel ve toplumsal yaşamını etkileyen din kurumu etrafında bir çok inanç, amel ve halk inanışları meydana gelmiştir. Bu tezimizde din kurumu etrafında meydana gelen inanç, amel ve halk inanışlarını yöresel açıdan tespit etmek üzere Sorgun yöresi Esenli ve Çamurlu köylerinde anketi i bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre; her iki köy halkının Allah, melek ve peygambere inanç şekillerinin hemen hemen aynı özellikleri taşıdığı tespit edilmiştir. Her iki köyün birbirlerine göre farklı yorumladıkları inanç esasları ise, ahiret hayatının ne şekilde olacağı ve kader inancının nasıl anlaşılması gerektiği hususudur. Esenli ve Çamurlu köyü halkının ibadet anlayışları konusunda da belli bazı farklılıklarının olduğu görülmüştür. Bunlar özellikle namaz, Ramazan orucu ve hac ibadetleri hakkında kendisini göstermiştir. Geleneksel halk inanışları hususunda ise farklılığın pek fazla olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bütün bu sonuçlara göre yöredeki farklı iki köy halkı, inanç, ibadet ve halk inanışları konusunda genelde ortak görüşler etrafında toplanmakla birlikte, küçük ama anlamlı farklılıkları da yaşatmaktadır.

SUMMARY Religion is a fact which as old as the history of mankind It appeared with the first human being and it has maintained its existence and effect throughout history. Around the institution of religion, which affects the personnel and social life of the human being, there has been occurred many kind of beliefs, act and people's behaviors. In our thesis, a public survey was made in the region of Sorgun and villages of Esenli and Çamurlu in order to determine belief, act and people's beliefs, which are occurred around the religion institution, with respect of region. According to the results of this study, it has been determined that the belief forms of Allah (God), angle and prophets of both villages have shown similar characteristics. Different belief principles of both villages, interpreted differently be the people, are in. which form of next world and how the belief of fate should be understood by the peoplS. It has been experienced that some specific differences are present in the comprehension of worship. It has especially showed itself about fasting of Ramadan and worship of hadj. It has appeared that there haven't many differences concerning the traditional beliefs of people. According to the results of all these things, While the people of these two villages in the region share the common opinions concerning belief, worship and faiths of people, there has been some little but expressive differences.
