Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı çoktan seçmeli test ile yapılandırılmış grid testinin psikometrik özelliklerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik dersi“Sayılar ve İşlemler”öğrenme alanında yer alan“Çarpanlar ve Katlar”alt öğrenme alanına ilişkin beş kazanımı ölçen 24 maddeden oluşan çoktan seçmeli ve yapılandırılmış grid testleri oluşturulmuştur. 18 öğrenciden oluşan deneme grubuna uygulanmış ve uygulama sonucunda çoktan seçmeli testin iç tutarlılık anlamındaki güvenirlik katsayısı 0.81, yapılandırılmış grid testinin ise 0.84 olarak bulunmuştur. Her iki testte de madde ayırıcılık indeksi .30'un üzerinde olan maddelerden 15 çoktan seçmeli madde ve 15 yapılandırılmış grid maddesi asıl uygulama için seçilmiş ve nihai formlar oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmada asıl uygulama, Kocaeli ilinde uygun örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen dört farklı ortaokulda 6. sınıfta öğrenim gören 368 öğrenciyle yürütülmüştür. Çoktan seçmeli ve yapılandırılmış grid testlerinden elde edilen puanların betimsel istatistikleri ve her iki testte bulunan maddelere ilişkin madde güçlük ve madde ayırt edicilik indeksleri hesaplanmıştır. Her iki testin madde güçlük ve madde ayırıcılık indekslerini karşılaştırıldığında yapılandırılmış grid test maddelerinin öğrencilere çoktan seçmeli test maddelerine göre daha kolay geldiği görülmüştür. Çoktan seçmeli ve yapılandırılmış grid test puanlarının ortalamaları arasında farklılık olup olmadığı bağımlı örneklemler için t-testi kullanılarak hesaplanmış ve puanların aritmetik ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Yapılandırılmış grid test puanlarının ortalamasının çoktan seçmeli test puanlarının ortalamasından daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Her iki testin güvenirliklerine bakıldığında çoktan seçmeli testin iç tutarlılık anlamındaki güvenirlik katsayısı 0.84, yapılandırılmış grid testinin ise 0.92 olarak bulunmuştur. Yapılan analiz sonucunda, yapılandırılmış grid testinin iç tutarlılık açısından daha güvenilir sonuçlar sunduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.

The aim of this study is to compare the psychometric properties of multiple-choice test and structured grid test. For this purpose, multiple-choice and structured grid tests consisting of 24 items measuring five learning outcomes related to the“Multipliers and Multiples”sub-learning area in the“Numbers and Operations”learning area of the 6th grade mathematics course were created. It was applied to a test group of 18 students and as a result of the application, the reliability coefficient of the multiple-choice test in terms of internal consistency was found to be 0.81 and 0.84 for the structured grid test. In both tests, 15 multiple-choice items and 15 structured grid items with an item discrimination index above .30 were selected for the main application and the final forms were formed. The main application was conducted with 368 6th grade students in four different secondary schools selected by convenience sampling method in Kocaeli province. Descriptive statistics of the scores obtained from the multiple-choice and structured grid tests and item difficulty and item discrimination indices for the items in both tests were calculated. When the item difficulty and item discrimination indices of both tests were compared, it was seen that the structured grid test items were easier for the students than the multiple-choice test items. The difference between the averages of the multiple-choice and structured grid test scores was calculated using t-test for dependent samples and a significant difference was found between the arithmetic averages of the scores. It was observed that the mean of the structured grid test scores was higher than the mean of the multiple-choice test scores. When the reliabilities of both tests were analysed, the reliability coefficient of the multiple-choice test in terms of internal consistency was found to be 0.84 and 0.92 for the structured grid test. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the structured grid test presented more reliable results in terms of internal consistency.
