Özet
ÖZET Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı hemşirelerin cinsiyete bağlı mesleki doyum düzeylerinin yaşam kalitesine etkisini incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmada nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerinin bir arada kullanıldığı karma yöntem yaklaşımı benimsenmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel örneklemi 165 hemşireden oluşurken, nitel örneklem 20 hemşire ile sınırlıdır. Veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Mesleki Doyum Ölçeği (MDÖ) ve Çalışanlar İçin Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (ÇYKÖ) aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Nicel veri analizi için tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemler, bağımsız gruplar t-testi, korelasyon ve regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Nitel veri analizi ise tematik analiz yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 28,3±4,4 yıl olup, %58,5'i kadın, %29,8'i evli, %74,7'si ise lisans mezunudur. MDÖ toplam puanı ortalaması 59,97±12,66, ÇYKÖ toplam puan ortalaması ise 66,89±24,71 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmada hemşirelerin cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim durumu, mesleğini kendi isteği ile seçme ve mesleğini kendine uygun bulma durumu değişkenlerinin, MDÖ toplam puanı üzerinde %19,4 değişim yaptığı belirlenmiştir (R2: 0,194, p<0,005). Nitel verilerin analizi sonucunda“Mesleki Doyum, Yaşam Kalitesi, Öneriler”olmak üzere üç tema belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin cinsiyete bağlı mesleki doyum düzeylerinin yaşam kalitesini etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

THE GENDER RELATED EFFECT TO OCCUPATIONAL SATISFACTION LEVELS OF NURSES QUALITY OF LIFE ABSTRACT Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the levels of moral stress and experiences of conscientious objection among nurses and midwives working in the field of women's health. Materials and Methods: The study used a mixed method, where quantitative and qualitative research methods were used together. The universe of the study consisted of 961 nurses working in a city hospital. The quantitative sample of the study consisted of 165 nurses and the qualitative sample consisted of 20 nurses. The data of the study were collected using the Personal Information Form, Job Satisfaction Scale (MDS), and Quality of Life Scale for Employees (CYQO). In the quantitative part of the data analysis, descriptive statistical methods, independent groups t test, correlation and regression analysis were used. In the qualitative part, thematic analysis method was used. Results: The average age of the nurses was 28.3±4.4 years, 58.5% were female, 29.8% were married, and 74.7% had a bachelor's degree. The average total score of the MDS was calculated as 59.97±12.66, and the average total score of the CYQO was calculated as 66.89±24.71. In the study, it was determined that the variables of the nurses' gender, marital status, education level, choosing their profession voluntarily and finding their profession suitable for them made a 19.4% change on the total score of the MDS (R2: 0.194, p<0.005). As a result of the analysis of the qualitative data, three themes were determined as“ Job Satisfaction, Quality of Life, Suggestions”. Conclusion: It was found that the gender-based job satisfaction levels of nurses affect their quality of life.
