Özet
Özne tartışmaları sosyoloji tarihinde uzun ve önemli bir yere sahiptir. Descartes ile başlayan ve son dönemlerde ise Byung-Chul Han ile devam eden modern özne tartışmaları farklı kavramsal biçimlerle tanımlanmıştır. Han'ın tanımladığı performans kavramsallaştırması da bunlardan biridir. Han'ın, performans kavramsallaştırması birçok farklı toplum tipolojiyi de ortaya çıkarmıştır. Han'ın eserlerinde yaptığı kavramsallaştırmaların tamamı birbirini destekleyen ve birbiri ile çelişmeyen kavramlardır. Özellikle şeffaflık, yorgunluk ve palyatif olarak tanımladığı toplumsal tipolojilerin her biri birbirini doğuran ve destekleyen kavramlardır. Fakat Han'ın tanımladığı özne ve toplumsal yapının dışında kalan özne ve gruplarda bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada bu bireyler, sosyal intihar kavramsallaştırması ile tanımlanmıştır. Kavram, her ne kadar sosyal izolasyon, sosyal yalnızlık ve hikikomori gibi kavramsallaştırmalarla benzerlik taşıyormuş gibi görünse de kavramdaki belirgin farklar ve özellikler benzerliği ortadan kaldırmaktadır. Amaçlı örneklem kapsamında nitel araştırmanın bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkan bu tez çalışması toplamda on kişi ile görüşülerek gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmeler nitel araştırmanın analiz yöntemlerinden biri olan Maxqda ile analiz edilmiştir.

Subject debates have a long and important place in the history of sociology. Modern subject debates, which started with Descartes and continued recently with Byung-Chul Han, have been defined with different conceptual forms. The performance conceptualization defined by Han is one of them. Han's conceptualization of performance has also revealed many different social typologies. All of the conceptualizations made by Han in her/his works are concepts that support each other and do not contradict each other. In particular, the social typologies she/he defines as transparency, fatigue and palliative are concepts that give rise to and support each other. However, there are also subjects and groups outside the subject and social structure defined by Han. In the study, these individuals were defined with the conceptualization of social suicide. Although the concept seems to be similar to conceptualizations such as social isolation, social loneliness and hikikomori, the obvious differences and features in the concept eliminate the similarity. This thesis study, which emerged as a result of qualitative research within the scope of purposeful sampling, was carried out by interviewing a total of ten people. The interviews were analyzed with Maxquda, one of the analysis methods of qualitative research.
