Özet
İdealizmin ve idealist eğitim sürecinin ferdi olan öğretmenler, toplumların aydınlanması adına karşılaştıkları engelleri toplum yararına çözüme kavuşturan ve yeni kurulmuş genç Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin ülküsüne hizmet eden aydın kişilerdir. Cumhuriyet Dönemi romanlarında aydın birer prototip olarak ele alınan öğretmen kahramanlar, Cumhuriyetin kurucu kadrolarının laik bir eğitim ve aydınlanmış bir toplum ideali için sosyal, siyasal ve iktisadi birçok engelin yanı sıra yanlış inanç ve hurafeler ile sürekli bir mücadele halinde olmuşlardır. Bu çalışmanın konusu açısından önemli olan“aydınlanma”kavramı; yeni kurulmuş bir devletin sosyal, askeri, iktisadi ve siyasal dokusuna 19.yüzyıldan itibaren kendini göstermeye başlamışsa da özellikle Cumhuriyetin ilanı, Saltanat ve Hilafet makamının kaldırılması, medreselerin kapatılması gibi olaylar; bu kavramın kapsadığı alana egemen olmasını sağlamıştır. Atatürk ilke ve inkılâplarının yapısal reformu bu bağlamda edebiyatın ve yazarların en güçlü silahı olmuştur. Bu nedenle Cumhuriyet Dönemi'nin ilk evresinde yetişen yazarlar; devlet rejiminin değerleri ile barışık, idealist tipler yaratmış; bu kahramanları batıl inanç, hurafeler ve cehaletle bir savaşın içine sokmuş, Anadolu'yu saflığın, temizliğin ve umudun simgesi olarak göstermişlerdir.Cumhuriyet Dönemi romanlarında bu ve buna benzer sorunların öğretmen merkezli ele alınarak öğretmenlere yüklenmiş olan kutsiyet çerçevesinde aydınlanması amaçlanmıştır. Aydın bir prototip olarak yaratılan öğretmen kahramanlar ve onlara yüklenmiş olan sorumluluk bilinci, sorunların çözümünde başat öge olmuştur. Bu çalışmamızda Cumhuriyet Dönemi romanlarında (1923-1950) aydın bir prototip olarak ele alınan öğretmen kahramanların toplumun aydınlanması ve ileriye taşınması noktasında ne gibi görevlerinin olduğu üzerinde durulmuş ve Cumhuriyet kazanımları ile donatılmış idealist bir öğretmen imajı yaratılmıştır. Müreffeh bir toplum inşa etme gayesi ile yetiştirilen öğretmenlerin Anadolu'da karşılaştığı“dinin bireysel çıkarlara alet edilmesi, çürümüş bürokrasi, iltimas, geleneksel eğitim anlayışı, liyakatsizlik, batıl inanç ve hurafelerle mücadele, sosyo-ekonomik yapı, halkın aydına bakışı”gibi pek çok sorun ve bu sorunlara gösterilen reaksiyon, eserlerden hareketle tespit edilmiştir.

Teachers, who are members of idealism and the idealistic education process, are intellectuals who solve the obstacles they encounter in the name of enlightenment of societies for the benefit of society and serve the ideal of the newly established young Republic of Turkey. Teacher heroes, who are considered as intellectual prototypes in the novels of the Republic Period, were in a constant struggle against many social, political and economic obstacles, as well as false beliefs and superstitions, for the ideal of a secular education and an enlightened society of the founding staff of the Republic. The concept of“enlightenment”, which is important for the subject of this study; Even though it started to show itself in the social, military, economic and political fabric of a newly established state since the 19th century, events such as the declaration of the Republic, the abolition of the Sultanate and the Caliphate, and the closure of madrasahs; has enabled this concept to dominate the field it covers. The structural reform of Ataturk's principles and reforms has become the most powerful weapon of literature and writers in this context. For this reason, writers who grew up in the first phase of the Republican Era; created idealist types who were at peace with the values of the state regime; They put these heroes in a war with superstition, superstitions and ignorance, and showed Anatolia as the symbol of purity, cleanliness and hope. In the novels of the Republic Period, it was aimed to shed light on these and similar problems within the framework of the sanctity placed on teachers by addressing them in a teacher-centered manner. Teacher heroes, created as enlightened prototypes, and the sense of responsibility placed on them have become the dominant element in solving problems. In this study, we focused on the duties of the teacher heroes, who were considered as intellectual prototypes in the novels of the Republic Period (1923-1950), in terms of enlightening the society and moving it forward, and an idealist teacher image equipped with the achievements of the Republic was created. Many problems faced by teachers trained with the aim of building a prosperous society in Anatolia, such as“using religion for individual interests, rotten bureaucracy, favoritism, traditional understanding of education, lack of merit, fighting against superstitions and superstitions, socio-economic structure, people's view of intellectuals”and the reaction to these problems has been determined based on the works.
