Özet
Bu araştırma, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı yayını olan çocuk hikâye kitaplarını, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı öğretim programlarında yer alan kök değerler açısından incelemektedir. Çalışmada, on yaş üzeri çocuklar için hazırlanan altı kitaplık hikâye seti analiz için seçilmiştir. Hikâyeler, çocukların dünyalarında değerlerin oluşmasında ve gündelik yaşamda değerleri benimsemelerinde önemli unsurlar arasındadır. Bu nedenle çocukların hayal dünyasına hitap edebilecek ve onları istenilen davranışlara yönlendirebilecek şekilde hikâye kitaplarının değerler açısından iyi bir şekilde kurgulanması gerekmektedir. Bir başka yönüyle çocukların hikayeler aracılığıyla benimseyeceği değerler, onların hem kişilik gelişiminde hem de toplumsal düzeyde gerçekleştirecekleri ilişki biçimlerinde belirleyici roller üstlenebilir. Bu nedenle bu yayınlarda değerlerin işlenişi, çocuklara nasıl aktarıldığı, değer ve toplum ilişkisi açısından ne tür ifadeler barındırdığı konusu çalışmanın odak noktasını oluşturan kritik bir husustur. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden doküman analizi yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın veri toplama sürecinde, Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı yayını olan,“Beni ve Her Şeyi Yaratan Allah”,“Bizim İçin Dua Eden Melekler”,“Yol Gösterici Kutsal Kitaplar”,“En Güzel Örnek Peygamberler”,“Sonsuz Hayat Ahiret Yurdu”,“O'nun Dediği Olur Kaza ve Kader”adlı hikâye kitapları incelenmiştir. Hikâye kitaplarından toplanan veriler, nitel araştırma veri analizi yöntemlerinden olan betimsel ve içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. Betimsel analiz aşaması ile kitaplarda yer alan kök değerler belirlenmiş ve bu kök değerlerden hangi kitapta, ne kadar bahsedildiği, kök değerlerin nasıl yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu süreçte veriler, içerik analizine tâbi tutulmuştur. Araştırma kapsamında öğretim programlarında yer alan kök değerler çerçevesinde (adalet, dostluk, dürüstlük, öz denetim, sabır, saygı, sevgi, sorumluluk, vatanseverlik ve yardımseverlik) hikâye kitaplarındaki diyaloglar, konuşmalar, ayet ve hadisler, kıssalar, şiirler incelenmiştir. Bu incelemeler sonucunda toplamda 240 değer ifadesi tespit edilmiştir. İncelenen hikâye kitapları içerisinde en çok sevgi kök değerine; en az ise vatanseverlik kök değerlerine yer verildiği görülmüştür. Kitaplarda ilgili değerlerin bulunma durumuna baktığımızda“adalet”değeri 16,“dostluk”değeri 19,“dürüstlük”değeri 17,“öz denetim”değeri 34,“sabır”değeri 17,“saygı”değeri 23,“sevgi”değeri 49,“sorumluluk”değerinin 35,“vatanseverlik”değeri 3,“yardımseverlik”değeri ise 27 ifadede yer almıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, kitaplarda yer alan hikâyelerin kök değerlerin aktarımında kullanılabileceği, çocuklarda olumlu değer gelişimine katkı sağlayacak nitelikte olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study examines children's storybooks published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs in terms of the core values included in the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education. In the study, a set of six storybooks for children over the age of ten was selected for analysis. Stories are among the important elements in the formation of values in children's worlds and their adoption of values in daily life. For this reason, storybooks should be well-constructed in terms of values in a way that appeals to children's imagination and directs them toward desired behaviors. In other words, the values that children adopt through stories can play a decisive role both in their personality development and in the types of relationships they form at the social level. Therefore, how values are presented in these publications, how they are conveyed to children, and the nature of the expressions used in terms of the relationship between values and society are critical issues that constitute the focus of this study. For this purpose, the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research designs, was preferred in the study. In the data collection process, storybooks published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, such as“Allah Who Created Me and Everything,”“Angels Praying for Us,”“Guiding Holy Books,”“The Best Example of Prophets,”“Eternal Life, Hereafter,”and“He Says It Happens, Accident and Destiny,”were analyzed. The data collected from the storybooks were analyzed through descriptive and content analysis, which are among the qualitative research data analysis methods. In the descriptive analysis phase, the root values in the books were identified, and it was determined in which book these root values were mentioned, how frequently they were mentioned, and how the root values were incorporated. In this process, the data were subjected to content analysis. Within the scope of the research, dialogues, speeches, verses, hadiths, parables, and poems in the storybooks were examined within the framework of the root values in the curriculum (justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism, and helpfulness). As a result of these analyses, a total of 240 value statements were identified. Among the storybooks analyzed, it was found that the root value of love was the most common, while the root value of patriotism was the least common. When examining the presence of related values in the books, the following frequencies were observed:“justice”(16),“friendship”(19),“honesty”(17),“self-control”(34),“patience”(17),“respect”(23),“love”(49),“responsibility”(35),“patriotism”(3), and“helpfulness”(27). As a result of the study, it was concluded that the stories in the books can be used to transfer root values and contribute to the development of positive values in children.
