Özet
Araştırma, 06.02.2023 tarihinde, Türkiye saatiyle 04:17'de ve 13:24'de merkez üssü Kahramanmaraş'ın ilçeleri olan Pazarcık ve Elbistan, Mw 7.7 ve Mw 7.6 şiddetinde meydana gelmiş olan depremi yaşayan ve menopoz döneminde olan kadınların deprem sonrası menopozal geçiş sürecinde, menopoz sürecini nasıl algıladıklarını, yaşadıkları fiziksel, ruhsal ve sosyal değişimler ile bu süreçte menopoza yönelik hemşirelik destek gereksinimlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik desende yürütülen bu araştırma Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Uygulama ve Araştırma Hastanesi, kadın hastalıkları kliniğinde, Mayıs-Temmuz 2024 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya 45-54 yaş arasında olan, depremi Kahramanmaraş'ta yaşamış ve evi depremde hasar almış, şu anda konteyner kentte ya da misafirhanede konaklayan ve son iki yıl içerisinde menopoza giren 21 kadın dahil edilmiştir. Veriler ses kayıt cihazı kullanılarak bireysel derinlemesine görüşme tekniği kullanılarak kayıt altına alınmıştır. Görüşmelerde yaş, medeni durum, eğitim durumu gibi sosyodemografik sorulardan oluşan Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu (Ek II) ve kadınların menopoza geçiş deneyimlerini belirlemek amacıyla Meleis'in Geçiş Teorisi kapsamında oluşturulmuş Yarı Yapılandırılmış Soru Formu (Ek III) kullanılmıştır. Kayıtlar bilgisayar ortamında değiştirilmeden yazıya dökülmüş ve veriler kodlanıp temalara göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Veri analizinde bir nitel veri analiz yöntemi olan İçerik Analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda bulgular üç tema altında toplanmıştır. Bunlar; deprem sonrası menopoza bağlı yaşanan değişim ve farklılıklar, depremin menopoza sürecine etkisi ve deprem sonrası menopoza yönelik sağlık ihtiyaçlarıdır. Araştırma sonucunda kadınların menopoza yönelik fiziksel, psikolojik, sosyal açıdan birçok değişim ve farklılık yaşadığı, depremin menopozla baş etmede ve menopoz semptomlarını artırmada olumsuz etkisi olduğu, kadınların sağlık personeli desteğine ve sosyal desteği içerecek psikolojik desteğe fiziksel ve psikolojik semptomların azaltılması yönünden ihtiyaç duydukları saptanmıştır. Depremin beklenmedik acil müdahale edilmesi gereken bir afet olduğu bilinmektedir. Ancak bu dönemde menopoz dönemindeki kadınların ihtiyaçları göz ardı edilmemelidir. Psikolojik olarak yaşadıkları olumsuz deneyimlerle baş edilmesinde gereken psikolojik müdahaleler hızlıca sağlanmalıdır.

This research was carried out to determine how women who experienced the earthquake with a magnitude of Mw 7.7 and Mw 7.6 in Pazarcık and Elbistan, districts of Kahramanmaraş, on 06.02.2023 at 04:17 and 13:24 Turkey time, and who were in menopause, perceived the menopause process during the post-earthquake menopausal transition, the physical, psychological and social changes they experienced, and the nursing support needs for menopause during this process. The research was conducted at the Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Practice and Research Hospital, gynecology clinic, between May and July 2024. The study included 21 women aged between 45 and 54 who experienced the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş and whose houses were damaged in the earthquake, who are currently staying in a container city or guesthouse, and who have entered menopause in the last two years. The research data were obtained using individual in-depth interviews recorded with a voice recorder. The interviews used an Introductory Information Form (Appendix II) consisting of sociodemographic questions such as age, marital status, and educational status, and a Semi-Structured Questionnaire Form (Appendix III) developed within the scope of Meleis's Transition Theory to determine women's experiences of transitioning to menopause. The recordings were transcribed without modification in a computer environment, and the data were coded and classified according to themes. Content Analysis, a qualitative data analysis method, was used in data analysis. At the end of the research, the findings were gathered under 3 themes. These are; changes and differences experienced due to menopause after the earthquake, the effect of the earthquake on the menopause process and health needs for menopause after the earthquake. As a result of the research, it was determined that women experienced many physical, psychological and social changes and differences related to menopause, that the earthquake had a negative effect on coping with menopause and increasing menopause symptoms, and that women needed psychological support, including support from health personnel and social support, in order to reduce physical and psychological symptoms. It is known that an earthquake is a disaster that requires unexpected and urgent intervention. However, the needs of women in menopause should not be ignored during this period. The psychological interventions necessary to cope with the negative experiences they experience psychologically should be provided quickly.
