Özet
Bu çalışmada Capnodis tenebricosa (Olivier, 1790) (Coleoptera: Buprestidae)'nın dişi üreme sisteminin anatomik ve histolojik yapıları ışık ve elektron mikroskobu kullanılarak incelenmiştir. C. tenebricosa'nın dişi üreme sistemi bir çift ovaryum, bir çift lateral kanal, bir ortak kanal, bir spermateka ve bir bursa kopulatriksten yapılarından oluşmuştur. Ovaryumlar zengin bir trakeal ağ ile çevrilidir. Her ovaryolün distalinde beyaz, iplik şeklinde bir terminal filament bulunmaktadır. Terminal filament uzunlamasına, silindirik bir yapı göstermektedir. C. tenebricosa'da terminal filamentin altında germaryum bölgesi bulunmaktadır. Germaryum silindirik bir tüp şeklinde olup proksimal kısmı hafifçe daralmıştır. Vitellaryum yapısı germaryumu takip edip pedisele kadar uzanmaktadır. Vitellaryum farklı boyutlarda bir dizi oosit (previtellogenik, vitellogenik ve koryogenik oositler) içermektedir. Ovaryum, açık sarı renkte yaklaşık 24 telotrofik meroistik tip ovaryolden oluşur. Her ovaryol vitellaryumun proksimal ucundan pedisele açılmaktadır. Pedisel yapısı iki lateral kanala buradan da bir ortak kanala açılır. C. tenebricosa'da bursa kopulatriks, spermatekadan 5 kat daha uzundur. Bursa kopulatriks lümenden itibaren intima, tek tabakalı silindirik epitel ve kas tabakasıyla çevrilidir. İntima tabakasında sivri dikensi yapılar vardır. Lümen salgı materyaliyle doludur. Spermatekada kitin, tek tabakalı silindirik epitel ve kas tabakasıyla çevrili olup lümen olgun spermlerle doludur. Bu çalışma, Buprestidae ve diğer Coleoptera türlerinin dişi üreme organlarının morfolojisi açısından yararlı olabilir.

In this study, the anatomical and histological structures of the female reproductive system of Capnodis tenebricosa (Olivier, 1790) (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) were investigated using light and electron microscopy. The female reproductive system of C. tenebricosa consists of a pair of ovaries, a pair of lateral oviducts, a common oviduct, a spermatheca and a bursa copulatrix. The ovaries are surrounded by a rich tracheal network. There is a white, threadlike terminal filament at the distal end of each ovariole. The terminal filament has an elongated, cylindrical structure. In C. tenebricosa, there is a germarium region under the terminal filament. The germarium is in the form of a cylindrical tube and its proximal part is slightly narrowed. The vitellarium structure follows the germarium and extends to the pedicel. The vitellarium contains a number of oocytes of different sizes (previtellogenic, vitellogenic and choriogenic oocytes). The ovary consists of approximately 24 telotrophic meroistic type ovarioles, which are pale yellow in color. Each ovariole opens into a pedicel from the proximal end of the vitellarium. The pedicel structure opens into two lateral oviduct and from there into a common oviduct. In C. tenebricosa, the bursa copulatrix is 5 times longer than the spermatheca. The bursa copulatrix is surrounded by intima, single layered cylindrical epithelium and muscle layer from the lumen. There are pointed spine-like structures in the intima layer. The lumen is filled with secretory material. In the spermatheca, it is surrounded by chitin, single layered cylindrical epithelium and muscle layer and the lumen is filled with mature sperms. This study may be useful for the morphology of the female reproductive organs of Buprestidae and other Coleoptera species.
