Özet
Bu çalışmada Yalova'nın sahip olduğu ekoturizm potansiyeli, bu potansiyeli doğru kullanabilmek için yapılabilecek ekoturizm aktiviteleri, şehrin imkânları ve bu imkânları iyileştirmek için izlenecek yollar incelenmektedir. Yalova ili sahip olduğu doğası ile oldukça yüksek bir ekoturizm potansiyeline sahiptir. Sahip olunan potansiyelin ortaya çıkması, tanıtılması, yerli ve yabancı turisti şehre çekecek pazarlama ürünlerinin ortaya konulması açısından bu çalışma önem taşımaktadır. Bu kapsamda nitel araştırma yöntemi olan yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak veri toplanmıştır. Orman İşletme Müdürlüğü, İl Kültür ve Turizm Müdürlüğü gibi şehrin önemli yetkili kişilerinin yanı sıra şehirde ekoturizm faaliyeti sürdüren tesisler ile de görüşme yapılmış; toplamda 10 kişiden değerli görüş ve fikirleri alınmıştır. Çalışmada değerlendirilen alanlar ''Yalova Doğa Turizmi Master Planı 2012'' içerisinde yer alan ekoturizm bölgeleri dikkate alınarak belirlenmiştir. Bu görüşler doğrultusunda sunulan sonuç ve önerilerin şehrin potansiyelini değerlendirme konusunda ışık tutacağı düşünülmektedir.

In this study, the ecotourism potential of Yalova, the ecotourism activities that can be done to use this potential correctly, the city's opportunities and the ways to improve these opportunities are examined. Yalova province has a very high ecotourism potential with its nature. This study is important in terms of revealing and promoting the potential and creating marketing products that will attract local and foreign tourists to the city. In this context, data was collected using the face-to-face interview technique, which is a qualitative research method. Interviews were held with important officials of the city, such as the Forest Management Directorate, the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, as well as the facilities that carry out ecotourism activities in the city; Valuable opinions and ideas were received from a total of 10 people. The areas evaluated in the study are ecotourism included in the“Yalova Nature Tourism Master Plan 2012”. Determined by taking into account the regions. It is thought that the results and suggestions presented in line with these opinions will shed light on evaluating the potential of the city.
