Özet
Giresun'da Adak İnancı ve Adak yerleri adı altında hazırladığımız tez, adak kavramının dayandığı kökenleri, yayılanını ve gelişimini inceledikten sonra uygula ma alanları ile uygulama sebeplerini de ihtiva eden saha araştırmasından teşekkül etmiştir. Giresun'un tarihi ve coğrafyası üzerinde durulduktan sonra“adak”kavramına zemin teşkil eden“Eski Türk İnançlarına Genel Bir Bakış”başlığı altında Gök-Tanrı inancı, ayrıca diğer kültler ve“adak”la olan ilgileri ele alınmıştır. Adağın İslami çer çevedeki gelişiminde önemli bir faktör olan“veli kültü”ayrıca incelenmiştir. Bütün bunlardan sonra“adak”kavramı ve adak yerlerinin belli başlı özellik leri üzerinde durulmuştur. Yukarıda anlatılan teorik bilgilerin ışığında, Giresun'daki adak yerleri birçok özellikleri üzerinde durularak derlenmiştir. Derleme yapılırken adak yerlerinde tespit edilen eski Türk inançları ve veli kültü verileri ortaya konulmuştur. Bu veriler en son bölümde, bir çizelge ile adak yerlerine göre verilmiştir. Ekler bölümünde incelenen adak yerlerinin fotoğrafları sırasıyla yer almakta dır. Tezimiz sosyal açıdan önem arz eden adak kavramının özelliklerini ortaya koyması ve bu kavramla ilgili bir takım hurafelerin belirlenmesi açısından önemlidir. Ayrıca evliya kültüne bağlı adak yerlerinin incelenmesi sonucu Türk-İslam sentezi nin ve milli kültürümüzün temeli olan velilerimizin fonksiyonları ortaya konulmuş tur.

Our thesis which we have prepared for the faith of vow and vow places in the Province of Giresun consists of a field research which contains the application areas and application causes subsequent to the examination of the roots which the vow concept based on, its expansion and progress. After giving a brief history and geographical information about Giresun, faith of Heavens-God under the title of“A General Examination of the Ancient Turkish Faith at a Glance”which consists a ground for the concept of vow, in addition the other cults and their relations with“vow”have been examined. The cult of Moslem saint which is an important factor in the progress of vow under the Islamic concept. After all of these subjects are examined, the concept of“vow”and the principal characteristics the vow places of have been focused. In the light of the theoretical information explained above, many particulatities of the vow places of Giresun have been examined and arranged. During the arrangement is made, the datum concerning the ancient Turkish faiths and the cult of Moslem saint which have been determined in the vow places are clearly explained. Those datum are given with a table in the last part according to the vow places. In the part of appendices, the photographs of vow places which have been examined are given respectively. Our thesis is important from the point of view of the explanation of the particulars of the vow concept which is an important fact from the social point and also determination of some superstitions in connection with the vow concept. In addition, as a result of the examination of the vow places depended on the Moslem saint culture, the functions of the Moslem saints which are the bases of Turkish- Islamic synthesis and our national culture have been revealed..
