Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Biruni Üniversitesi Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü, İstanbul. Bu çalışma, cerrahi hemşirelerin elektif kolorektal cerrahisi sonrası hızlandırılmış iyileştirme protokolüne ilişkin bilgi düzeylerini değerlendirmek ve etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı-kesitsel tipte gerçekleştirildi. Çalışmaya Mayıs - Temmuz 2023 tarihleri arasında bir şehir hastanesinin genel cerrahi kliniklerinde ve cerrahi yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışan 99 hemşire dâhil edildi.Araştırma verileri, Hemşire Bilgi Formu ve Elektif Kolorektal Cerrahisi ERAS Protokolü Bilgi Formu ile toplandı. Hemşirelerin yarısından fazlasının (%58.6)ERAS protokolü hakkında yeterli bilgi sahibi olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin %41.5'i ERAS protokolü hakkında eğitim aldığını, % 61'i ise ERAS protokü hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadığını ifade etmiştir.“Ameliyat öncesi yapılan bilgilendirme hastanın anksiyetesini ve ağrısını azaltır (%97)”maddesi hemşireler tarafından en çok doğru cevap verilen madde olurken,“Anestezi indüksiyonundan 2-3 saat öncesine kadar hastaların 400 ml karbonhidrat içeren berrak sıvı alımına izin verilir (%31.3)”maddesi en az doğru yanıt verilen madde olmuştur. Hemşirelerin Elektif Kolorektal Cerrahisi ERAS Protokolü Bilgi Formu total puan ortalaması 12.08±3.68 olarak saptandı. Hemşirelerin eğitim, çalışma pozisyonu, birimde çalışma süresi, ERAS protokolü hakkında yeterli bilgi sahibi olma, ERAS protokolüne yönelik eğitim alma, ERAS protokolünü uygulama durumuna göre bilgi puanı arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmaktadır (p<0.05). Hemşirelerin elektif kolorektal cerrahisi sonrası hızlandırılmış iyileştirme protokolüne ilişkin bilgi düzeyleri ortalama puanın biraz üzerindedir. Hemşirelere ERAS protokolü konusunda hizmetiçi eğitimlerin düzenlenmesi ve hemşirelerin bu konudaki bilgi düzeylerinin iyileştirilmesi ve geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Hemşirelerin ERAS protokolü konusunda bilgi sahibi olması kolorektal cerrahisi sonrası hastalarda komplikasyonların önlenmesinde, erken tanılamasında ve hastalığın iyileşme sürecinde önemli katkı sağlayarak hastaların yaşam kalitesini arttırabilir.

Master's Thesis, Biruni University Institute of Graduate Education, Istanbul. This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted to evaluate the knowledge level of surgical nurses regarding the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery enhanced recovery protocol after elective colorectal surgery and to determine the factors affecting it. The study included 99 nurses working in general surgery clinics and surgical intensive care units of a city hospital between May and July 2023.Data were collected using the Nurse Information Form and the Elective Colorectal Surgery ERAS Protocol Information Form. It was determined that more than half of thenurses (58.6%) did not have sufficient knowledge about the ERAS protocol.While 41.5% of the nurses stated that they received training on the ERAS protocol, 61% stated that they did not have sufficient knowledge about the ERAS protocol. While the item ''Preoperative information reduces patient anxiety and pain (97%)'' was the item with the most correct answers by the nurses, the item "Patients are allowed to take 400 ml of clear fluid containing carbohydrate until 2-3 hours before induction of anesthesia '' (31.3%)''was the item with the least correct answers.The mean total score of the nurses in the Elective Colorectal Surgery ERAS Protocol Information Form was 12.08±3.68. There was a significant difference between the knowledgescore according to the nurses' education, working position, working time in the unit, having sufficient knowledge about the ERAS protocol, receiving training on theERAS protocol, and applying the ERAS protocol (p<0.05).The knowledge level of nurses about the accelerated recovery protocol after elective colorectal surgery isslightly above the average score. In-service trainings should be organized for nurses about the ERAS protocol and the knowledge levels of nurses on this subject should be improved and developed. Nurses' knowledge of the ERAS protocol can improve the quality of life of patients after colorectal surgery by making a significant contribution to the prevention of complications, early diagnosis, and the recovery process of the disease.
