Özet

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, spor lisesi ve diğer liselerdeki öğrencilerin liderlik özelliklerinin okul türü, sınıf, cinsiyet gibi çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Yöntem: Bu çalışma nicel verilere dayalı genel tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini; Ortaöğretim kurumlarında eğitim gören (9.-10.-11. ve 12. Sınıf) bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise, Van/Erciş İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı Spor Lisesi, Sağlık Meslek Lisesi, Sosyal Bilimler Lisesi, Fen Lisesi ve Anadolu Lisesi'nde öğrenim görmekte olan 295 kadın ve 241erkek olmak üzere toplam 536 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. İki bağımsız değişkenler için örneklem T testi (İndependent Samples T test); ikiden fazla değişkenin karşılaştırılmasında tek yönlü varyans analizi (One Way ANOVA) testi uygulanmıştır. Analizlerde anlamlılık düzeyi (p<0,05) olarak belirlenmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin Gençlik Liderlik Özellikleri Ölçeği (GLÖÖ) ortalama değeri ile alt boyut değerlerinin okul türü değişkeni için yapılan Test sonuçları detaylı olarak incelendiğinde katılımcıların GLÖÖ alt boyutlarından“iletişim kurabilmek”,“grup becerileri”,“güven duyma ve güvenilir olma”,“karar verme becerileri”ve“sorumluluk”alt boyutlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir (p>,05). GLÖÖ ortalama değeri ile GLÖÖ alt boyutlarından“mücadele isteği ve hedef koyma”ve“problem çözme becerileri”alt boyutlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<,05). Sonuç: Pearson Korelasyon (r) analizine bakıldığında gençlik liderlik özellikleri ölçeğinin alt boyutları arasındaki ilişkinin pozitif yönde, orta düzeyde ve anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yine çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin okul türüne göre mücadele isteği ve hedef koyma, problem çözme becerileri ve GLÖÖ ortalama değerlerinde spor lisesine gidenler lehine olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the leadership characteristics of students in sports high schools and other high schools in terms of various variables such as school type, class, and gender Method: This study was carried out in a general survey model based on quantitative data. The universe of the research; Educated in secondary education institutions (9th-10th-11th and 12th grades) Class) individuals. The sample consists of a total of 536 students, 295 female and 241 male, studying at Sports High School, Health Vocational High School, Social Sciences High School, Science High School and Anatolian High School affiliated to the Van/Erciş District Directorate of National Education. Independent Samples T test for two independent variables; One-way analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA) test was applied to compare more than two variables. The significance level was determined as (p<0.05). Findings: When the test results of the mean value of the youth leadership characteristics scale (SLS) and the sub-dimension values of the students participating in the study for the school type variable were examined in detail, it was determined that there was no statistically significant difference in the sub-dimensions of“communication”,“group skills”,“trusting and being reliable”,“decision-making skills”and“responsibility”from the sub-dimensions of the GLÖS of the participants (p>,05). It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean value of the HLS and the sub-dimensions of“willingness to struggle and goal setting”and“problem solving skills”(p<.05). Result: When the Pearson Correlation (r) analysis was examined, it was determined that the relationship between the sub-dimensions of the youth leadership characteristics scale was positive, moderate and significant. Again, it was determined that the students participating in the study were in favor of those who went to sports high school in terms of their desire to struggle and goal setting, problem solving skills and GLÖS average values according to the type of school.
