Dr. Ergün DEMİR Bu çalışma, Hatay keçisi olarak adlandırılan yerli keçilerde, ekstansif koşullarda meraya ek olarak verilen kesif yemin, keçilerin döl ve süt verimine etkileri ile emzirme döneminde oğlakların canlı ağırlık kazancına etkilerini araştırmak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Denemede kullanılan 45 keçi tesadüfi olarak 15'erlik üç gruba ayrılmıştır. Birinci ve ikinci gruplar meraya ek olarak kesif yem alırken üçüncü grup sadece meradan yararlanmıştır. Ek yemleme yapılan gruplara teke katımından 3 hafta önce başlayarak 42 gün boyunca uygulanan flushing süresince sırasıyla 300 ve 500 g/gün, gebeliğin son 6 haftası ve laktasyon boyunca 500 ve 750 g/gün kesif yem verilmiştir. Gruplara göre keçilerin canlı ağırlıklarındaki değişimler, flushing başlangıcından teke katımına kadar geçen 21 günlük sürede +1.57, +1.45 ve +1.95 kg, flushing süresince +1.95, +2.15 ve +0.93 kg ve flushing başlangıcından gebeliğin son 6 haftasına kadar geçen sürede ise +0.28, +0.70 ve -1.20 kg olarak bulunmuştur. Denemede kesif yem alan gruplarda keçiler canlı ağırlıklarını korurken, mera grubunda canlı ağırlık kaybı meydana gelmiştir. Keçilerde besleme gruplarına göre gebelik oranı %100, % 93.33. % 100; kısırlık oram % 0, % 6.67, % 0; tekealtı keçi sayısına göre oğlak verimi % 120.0, %İ26.67, % 113.33; ikizlik oranı % 38.46, % 46.16, % 41.66 olmuştur. Meraya ek olarak kesif yem alan gruplarda oğlak verimi, sadece meradan yararlanan gruba göre daha yüksek bulunmuş, ikizlik oranı da yüksek düzeyde kesif yem alan grupta diğer iki gruba göre daha yüksek olmuştur. Besleme gruplarında oğlakların doğum ağırlığı 2.91±0.14, 3.0710.11, 3.05±0.12 kg, 8 haftalık emzirme döneminde günlük canlı ağırlık artışı ise 126.53+7.76, 130.76+6.17, 136.86+5.87 g olarak saptanmıştır. Oğlakların 2 ay yaştaki sütten kesim ağırlığı ise gruplara göre 10.07±0.54, 10.39±0.43 ve 10.71±0.39 kg olarak belirlenmiştir. Keçilerin pazarlanabilir süt verimleri gruplara göre 130.93±8.36, 134.8418.44 ve 134.9116.95 1 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Deneme gruplarında laktasyon süreleri gruplara göre sırasıyla 214.4214.25, 213.7314.28 ve 217.6712.20 gün olarak tespit edilmiştir.

Dr. Ergün DEMİR This study was carried out under extensive conditions with local breed goats called“Hatay Goat”in order to investigate the effect of concentrate given in addition to pasture on reproduction, milk yield of Does and live weight gain of kids during the suckling period. Fortyfive goats were divided into three equal groups as 15 goats per group. While the first and second groups were fed on concentrate the third group was kept only on pasture. The first and second group were given concentrate 300 and 500 g/day in the flushing period, 500 and 750 g/day during the last 6 weeks of pregnancy and through lactation period, respectively. The liveweight changes in groups were +1.57, + 1.45 and +1.95 kg for the first 21 days of flushing; +1.95, +2.15 and +0.93 kg during the flushing period, +0.28, 0.70 and -1.20 kg from flushing till the last 6 weeks of pregnancy period,respectively. The liveweight in pasture-fed group decreased whilst the groups supplemented with concentrate protected their liveweight. According to feeding groups, the rate of pregnancy were 100 %, 93.33 % and 100 %; the rate of barrenness were 0 %, 6.67 % and 0 %; the number of kids for exposed goats were 120 %, 126.67 % and 113.33 %; twinning rate were 38.46 % 46. 16 % and 41.66 %. The number of kids from the groups fed on concentrate were higher than those grazed on pasture only. Also, twinning rate was higher within the group of goat fed on high level of concentrate in comparison with those fed on low level of concentrate. With regard to feeding groups, it was found that the birth weight of kids were 2.91 ± 0.14, 3.07 ±0.11 and 3.05 ± 0.12 kg; the live weight gain during suckling period were 126.53 ± 7.76, 130.76 ± 6.17 and 136.86 ± 5.87 g. According to feeding groups, it was determined that the liveweight of kids at weaning were 10.07+0.54, 10.39+0.43 and 10.71 ± 0.39 kg, respectively. Marketable milk yield of goats was calculated 130+8.36, 134.84+8.44 and 134.91+6.95 1 in respect to feeding groups. Lactation lengths were 214.42+4.25, 213.73±4.28 and 217.67±2.20 day according to feeding groups, respectively.
