Özet

BÖLÜM IV ÖZET, SONUÇ VE ÖNERİLER Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi dersi, ilköğretim ikinci kademesinde yer alan, sosyal bilgiler dersleri arasında tanımlanarak sekizinci sınıfta bir öğretim yılı okutulan bir derstir. 1995 yılına kadar Vatandaşlık Bilgileri adıyla anılan bu ders, kimi derslerde dolaylı olarak değinilen insan hakları ve demokrasi kavramlarına daha kapsamlı olarak yer verilmesi amacıyla değişikliğe uğratılmıştır. Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi dersinde en çok kullanılan öğretme-öğrenme aracı yazılı materyallerdir. Yazılı materyaller, özellikle de ders kitapları, öğrencilerin neler öğrenecekleri ve öğretmenin neleri öğreteceğini büyük ölçüde etkilemektedir. Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitiminde önemli bir etkiye sahip olan ders kitaplarının incelenmesi Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi için önemlidir. 1.ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilköğretim okullarında okutulan“Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi Ders Kitaplarını”belirlenen ölçütlerde öğretmen görüşlerine dayanarak değerlendirmektir. Bu amaçla; Ankara ilinde en çok okutulan Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi ders kitabı belirlenmiş ve bu kitabı okutan okullardaki Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi ders öğretmenlerine anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde ilk olarak problem ortaya konmuş, konu ile ilgili araştırmalar açıklanmış, daha sonra araştırmanın amacı, önemi, sınırlılıklar, araştırmada geçen bazı terimlerin tanımlarına değinilmiştir.İkinci bölümde araştırmanın yöntemi tanıtılmış, araştırmanın evreni ve örneklemine bulgular, ve yorumlara yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulardan bazıları şöyledir. 1- Öğretmenler, Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi ders kitaplarının içeriğini, sınıf içi uygulamalara imkân tanıyacak nitelikte bulmamaktadır. 2- Öğretmenler, ders kitabının resimlerini ve kapak sayfasını öğrencilerin ilgilerini çekecek nitelikte ve daha önce bilmedikleri ilginç bilgileri sunacak nitelikte bulmamaktadır. 3- Öğretmenler, ders kitabını öğrenci gelişim düzeyine uygunluk açısından yeterli bulmamaktadır. 4- Öğretmenler, ders kitabının sosyal tutumları geliştiremediği veya kısmen geliştirdiği görüşündedir.“Çocukların yaşam deneyimlerine uygundur”ifadesine hiç katılmamaktadırlar. Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi ders kitaplarının gerçek yaşama, değişme ve gelişmelere uygun yazılmadığı düşünülmektedir. Araştırmanın son bölümünde, elde edilen bulgular ışığında“Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi Ders Kitapları”ile ilgili sorulara yönelik çözüm önerilerinde bulunulmuştur.

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION, SUGESTIONS The lesson named,“The citizenship and The Human Rights is a lesson, which exists in the second step of the first education and tought in eight (8 th) classes, can be defined as a lesson of social sciences. Since 1995 this lesson was aimed as Knowledge of Citizenship and has been varied so as to give more inormation about humanrights and democracy as these two concepts were begin explained indirectly during the lessons. The main tools which are being used mostly in ”The Citizenship and The Human Rights“ lessons are the written matter as teaching-learning tools. The written material especially the lesson books, effect mostly what the students will learn and what the teachers will teach. It's of great importance investigating these lesson books for the education of the citizenship and the human nights. SUMMARY The aim of this study is to calculate the lesson book ”The citizenship and The human lesson book“The citizenship and The Human Rights ”depending on what the teachers think about. With this purpose the most thought book of this lesson all over Ankara, is determined, and also an inguing is performance 5) The teachers think that this lesson book is not in accord for teaching the main right and duties of democracy regime.In the last part of the study, same suggestions are made through the questions about the lesson book, with the help of the inventions of this study to the teachers of this lesson. In the first part of this study the problem is surrounded, the investigations are explained about the issue then the aim of the study, the limitations and same of the concept are explained In the second part the motioned of the study is explained and in the end the universe of the study, the exampler and inventions, calculations are placed before the results. Some of the calculations are as follows: 1) According to the teachers the implicit of the lesson book“The citizenship and The Humon Rights”is not consistent enough with the purposes of the programme. 2) En teachers opinions, the pictures and the covening rage of this book is not interesting enough for the students and also it's not quantified enough to teach to the students which they hadn't known before. 3) According to the teachers this lesson book cannot intellect the superiority of democracy regime. 4) The teachers think that this lesson book cannot develop social conduction's or can develop partially. They think the sentence“Favorable enough for life experimentation ”is not true the lesson is being thought as not favorable for real life, varity and developments.
