Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında ilk olarak belgesel sinemanın tanımı ele alınmış, ardından dünya belgesel sinema tarihinde etkili olan akımlara, biçemlere ve çeşitli yaklaşımlara değinilmiştir. Bunun yanında, Türk belgesel sinema tarihindeki dönemler incelenmiş ve Türk belgesel sinemasının gelişiminde payı olan kurumların katkısına yer verilmiştir. Türk belgesel sinemasının gelişimini anlamak adına belgesel sinemanın üretim tarzındaki değişimler ve bu değişimlerle filmlerin estetiği, anlatı yapısı ve eğilimleri üzerindeki etkiye dikkat çekilmiştir. Ayrıca, belgesel sinemanın üretiminde ve gelişiminde finansman sorunlarının belirleyici etken olduğunun üzerinde durulmuştur. Finansman sorunları açısından bakıldığında ise Türkiye'de üniversiteler bünyesinde kurulan film üretim merkezlerinin belgesel sinema üretimine sundukları katkılar gösterilmiştir. Buradan yola çıkılarak hazırlanan çalışmayla; Erciyes Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi çatısı altında kurulan“Erciyes Film Atölyesi”nin belgesel film üretim merkezi haline dönüşme süreci incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, atölyeye katkı sağlayan akademisyenler ve belgesel sinema alanında uzman isimlerle birebir görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın odak noktasını ise Erciyes Film Atölyesi bünyesinde üretilen;“Mada”,“Toruk”,“Cibik”isimli belgesellerin analizleri oluşturmuştur.

In this thesis, the first definition of documentary cinema is discussed, and then the movements, styles, and various approaches that are influential in the world documentary cinema history are touched upon. In addition, the periods in the history of Turkish documentary cinema were examined and the contributions of institutions that had a share in the development of Turkish documentary cinema were included. In order to understand the development of Turkish documentary cinema, attention is drawn to the changes in the production style of documentary cinema and the impact of the sechanges on the aesthetics, and narratives tructure and tendencies of the films. It is also emphasized that financing problems are the determining factor in the production and development of documentary cinema. In terms of financing problems, the contributions of film production centers established with in universities in Turkey to documentary cinema production are shown. With the study prepared based on this; The process of transforming the“Erciyes Film Workshop”, established under the umbrella of Erciyes University Faculty of Communication, into a documentary film production center, was examined. In this context, interviews were held with academics who contributed to the workshop and experts in the field of documentary cinema. The focus of the study is on films produced with in Erciyes Film Workshop; He created analyses of documentaries named“Mada”,“Toruk”and“Cibik”.
