Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, sinir sisteminin nöroplastisite özelliğiyle temellendirilen Gelişimsel Duyumotor Oyun Programı'nın 24-36 ay arasındaki çocukların dil ve bilişsel gelişimlerine ve uygulanan oyun programının annelerin çocuklarının gelişimine ve oyun oynamalarına ilişkin görüşlerine etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma sonucu; karma yöntem kullanılarak nicel ve nitel verilerden yararlanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın uygulama süreci Sivas ili Merkez ilçede ve Sivas ili Yıldızeli ilçesi Karakoç Köyü'nde yaşayan 24-36 aylık 22 bebek ve 22 anne ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde, Gelişimsel Duyumotor Oyun Programı 8 hafta boyunca, her hafta 2 oyun olarak uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel verileri için Portage Gelişim Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya yönelik nitel verileri ise Ebeveyn Görüşme Formları aracılığıyla toplanmış, elde edilen veriler araştırmacı ve anne günlüklerinde yer alan verilerle desteklemiştir. Portage Gelişim Ölçeği ile tespit edilen nicel veri sonuçlarına göre Gelişimsel Duyumotor Oyun Programı'nın çocukların dil ve bilişsel gelişimleri üzerinde olumlu yönde etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel boyutunda ise annelerle yapılan ön görüşme ve son görüşme sonuçları karşılaştırılmış, Gelişimsel Duyumotor Oyun Programı'nın annelerin çocuklarının gelişimi ve oyun oynamalarına ilişkin görüşlerinde olumlu etkisinin olduğu görülmüştür. Programın uygulama sürecini yordayabilmek için araştırma günlüklerinin verileri analiz edilmiştir. Nicel ve nitel bulgular birlikte değerlendirilmiş, anne ve çocuklar üzerindeki etkilerin araştırmanın amacıyla paralel olduğu gözlenmiştir.

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the Developmental Sensory-Potor Play Program, which is based on the neuroplasticity of the nervous system, on the language and cognitive development of children aged 24-36 months and the effect of the play program on mothers' views on their children's development and play. The result of the research was obtained by using quantitative and qualitative data using mixed method. The implementation process of the research was carried out with 22 infants aged 24-36 months and 22 mothers living in Sivas province Central district and Sivas province Yıldızeli district Karakoç Village. During the research process, the Developmental Sensemotor Play Program was implemented for 8 weeks as 2 games each week. Portage Developmental Scale was used for the quantitative data of the study. Qualitative data for the study were collected through Parent Interview Forms, and the data obtained were supported by the data in the researcher and mother diaries. According to the quantitative data results determined with the Portage Developmental Scale, it was determined that the Developmental Sensemotor Play Program had a positive effect on children's language and cognitive development. In the qualitative dimension of the study, the results of the pre-interviews and post-interviews with the mothers were compared, and it was seen that the Developmental Sensemotor Play Program had a positive effect on the mothers' views on their children's development and play. The data of the research diaries were analyzed to predict the implementation process of the program. Quantitative and qualitative findings were evaluated together and it was observed that the effects on mothers and children were parallel to the purpose of the study.
