Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı gitar eğitiminde tablatur sisteminin kullanılmasının performans başarısına etkisini araştırmada belirlenen boyutlar çerçevesinde incelemektir. Araştırma nitel çerçevede eylem araştırması modeli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda araştırmada gitar eğitimi alan öğrenciler ile tablatur sistemine dayalı beş haftalık eğitim-öğretim uygulamaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında Gitar ve Eşlikleme 2 dersini alan, derslere katılım gösteren öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak; Gitar ve Eşlikleme 2 dersi alan öğrencilerin performans başarılarını belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan gitar performans gözlem formu, öğrencilerin tablatur sistemine dayalı öğretim uygulamalarına ilişkin görüşlerini belirleyebilmek için araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve araştırma sürecinde araştırmacının gözlemlerini derinlemesine yansıtabilmeye yönelik araştırmacı notları olmak üzere üç veri toplama aracı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada gitar eğitiminde tablatur sisteminin kullanılmasının performans başarısına etkisini belirlemeye yönelik gitar performans gözlem formundan elde edilen puanların çözümlenmesinde bağımlı t-testi, öğrenci görüşleri ve araştırmacı notlarından elde edilen nitel çerçevedeki verilerin çözümlenmesinde ise betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın alt amaçları doğrultusunda elde edilen sonuçlarda, araştırmanın eylem planı çerçevesinde tablatur sistemine dayalı gerçekleştirilen uygulamalar sonucunda deney grubunun gitar performans gözlem formu öntest ve sontest puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuş, farklılığa yönelik etki büyüklüğü değerinin ise yüksek düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Gitar eğitiminde tablatur sisteminin kullanılmasının performans başarısına etkisine yönelik öğrenci görüşlerinden elde edilen bulgular sonucunda; öğrencilerin gitar eğitimleri sürecinde tablatur sistemini kullanmalarının performans başarılarına olumlu yönde etkisi olduğu ve tablatur sistemine dayalı eğitim-öğretim uygulamalarının kalıcı öğrenmelerine de katkı sağladığı, bununla birlikte, tablatur sisteminin klavye de nota yerlerini bulmak, deşifraj sürecini kolaylaştırmak, gitara olan hakimiyeti arttırmak, çalışılan eseri bütünsel olarak algılayabilmek gibi faktörler açısından yararlı olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmacı notlarından elde edilen sonuçlarda, öğrencilerin eserlerini tablatur sistemine dayalı olarak çalışmalarının deşifraj sürecini hızlandırdığı, tablatur sistemine dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilen tekrar çalışmalarının öğrencilerin eseri çalma kolaylığına erişmelerinde yararlı olduğu ve bu yöndeki çalışmaların öğrencilerin eseri daha özgüvenli bir şekilde çalmalarına katkı sağladığı belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of using tablature system in guitar education on performance achievement within the framework of the dimensions defined in the research. The action research model in qualitative framework was employed in this study. Within the scope of this research, five-week education-training practices were carried out based on the tablature system with the students studying guitar. The study group of the research consisted of the students who took the Guitar and Accompaniment 2 courses in the spring semester of 2021-2022 academic year at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, School of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Music Education, and who attended the lessons. Three data collection tools were applied in the study: The guitar performance observation form created by the researcher for the purpose of determining the performance achievements of the students taking the Guitar and Accompaniment 2 courses, a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher to determine the opinions of the students about the teaching practices based on the tablature system, and the researcher's notes to reflect the researcher's observations in depth during the research process. In this research, paired T-test was used to analyze the scores obtained from the guitar performance observation form to determine the effect of using tablature system in guitar education on performance achievement. And also descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the data in the qualitative framework which were obtained from student opinions and researcher notes. According to the results obtained in line with the sub-objectives of this research, a significant difference was found between the pretest and posttest scores in the guitar performance observation form the experimental group in the consequence of the applications which were carried out based on the tablature system within the framework of the action plan of the research. The effect size value for the difference was determined to be high. As a result the findings obtained from the students' opinions on the effect of using the tablature system in guitar education on performance achievement, it was concluded that the use of the tablature system in the process of guitar education had a positive effect on the performance achievement of the students, and that the education-teaching applications based on the tablature system contributed to their permanent learning, and that additionally, the tablature system was beneficial from the perspective of the factors such as finding the place of notes on the keyboard, facilitating the sight-reading process, increasing the command on guitar, and perceiving the musical piece they practice holistically. As for the results obtained from the researcher's notes, it was determined that the fact that the student practice their pieces based on the tablature system accelerated the sight-reading process, and that the repetition practices based on the tablature system were useful for the students to reach the ease of playing the piece, and that their efforts exerted towards that end contributed to the students to play music pieces more confidently.
