The Convention on the International Sale of Goods is one of the most important legal sources to which various countries have acceded. It has an important place in the process of forming the law of uniform sale in the international arena and in standardization projects. In times when transient dangers threaten human beings for various reasons and human beings are harmed by various factors, Law can be a great help. This thesis examines compensation for breach of contract from the perspective of Turkish law and the Convention on the International Sale of Goods. Because in general, any lawsuit that is raised about breach of contract is one of the most important issues that is mentioned is the compensation of the obligor. However, the system of international trade in goods, and in particular the system of compensation, increases for various reasons under Turkish law and contains propositions. The fact that the Convention on the International Sale of Goods and Turkish law differ in such approaches demonstrates the need to compare the two systems. Although this study has not been conducted with the aim of comparing all aspects of the above systems, but in general outline similarities and differences between the Convention on International Sale and Turkish law in terms of the rights of the other party in case of breach of contract by one of the parties A special right to claim compensation has been seen. Therefore, this thesis will discuss the damages caused by the breach of contract and how to compensate it in Turkish law and the International Convention on the Sale of Goods (Vienna 1981).
