Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Irak'ın Orta Fırat kentindeki hemşirelik öğrencilerinde salgın sürecinde anksiyete ve depresyon prevalansını değerlendirmektir. Çalışmada MartHaziran 2022 döneminde Irak'taki 4 üniversitede tanımlayıcı ve gözlemsel çalışma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 812 hemşirelik öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veriler Google Formlar aracılığıyla çevrimiçi olarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında“Sosyodemografik Özellikler Formu”,“Durumluk-Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri Ölçeği”ve“Beck Depresyon Ölçeği”, verilerin analizinde MannWhitney U veya Kruskal-Wallis ve Post-Hock testleri kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırmada hemşirelik öğrencilerinin çoğunluğu %58'i kadın, %77.4'ü bekardır. Öğrencilerin Durumluk-Sürekli Kaygı Ölçeği puan ortalaması 50.9 ± 10.1, Beck Depresyon Ölçeği puan ortalaması 21.00 ± 12.00 ve orta düzeydedir.Ayrıca DurumlukSürekli Kaygı Envanteri ölçeği toplam puanı ile Beck puanı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu gösterilmiştir. Anksiyete alt boyutu puanları arttıkça depresyon toplam puanları da artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada öğrencilerin kaygı ölçeği puanlarının yüksek olduğu ve bu puanın salgın sürecinde üniversite öğrencilerinde depresyon ve öğrenciler arasında yayılması üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışma, işsizlere, negatif gelire sahip bireylere, sigara kullanımına ve kronik hastalıklara sahip olanlara psikolojik danışmanlık sağlanmasının gerekliliğini önermektedir.

This research aims to evaluate the prevalence of anxiety and depression among nursing students in the Middle Euphrates, Iraq, in the pandemic process.The study used a descriptive and observational study method in 4 universities in Iraq in the period between March to June 2022. The sample of the study consists of 812 nursing students by the sample calculation method. Data were collected online through Google Forms.“Sociodemographic Characteristics Form”,“The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory scale”, and“Beck Depression Scale”were used to collect data, Mann-Whitney U or KruskalWallis and Post-Hock tests were used to analyze the data. These results most of nursing srudents 58% of the study group were female and 77.4% were single. The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory scale' mean score of students was 50.9 ± 10.1 Beck Depression Scale mean score 21.00 ± 12.00 moderate depression among nursing students mean. It was also shown that there is a statistically significant negative relationship between the total score of The State-Trait scale Anxiety Inventory scale and the Beck score is positive. As the scores for the subdimension of anxiety increase, the total scores for depression increase. There is a positive relationship between BDI scale and STAI scale. This study concluded that nursing students' scores on the anxiety scale were high, and that this score had a significant impact on depression among nursing students during the pandemic and its spread among students. The study recommends the need to provide psychological counseling to the unemployed, those with negative income, sSmoker use and chronic diseases.
