ÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi ISININ ASFALT BETONUNUN FİZİKSEL ÖZELLİKLERİNE ETKİSİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI Emrullah D AĞDELEN Fırat Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü İnşaat Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı 1999, Sayfa: 48 Bu çalışmada Isının Asfalt Betonunun Fiziksel Özelliklerine Etkisi Araştırılmıştır. Elazığ Belediyesi tesislerinden temin edilen agrega ve asfalt çimentosu üzerinde deneyler yapılarak malzemelerin şartnamelere uygunluğu belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra seçilen agrega granülometrisinin ortalaması alınarak bu malzemelerle marshall stabilite deneyi yapılmış ve optimum bitüm bulunmuştur. Bu optimum bitüm yüzdesi ile yeni numuneler hazırlanmış ve değişik sıcaklıklarda bekletilerek kırılmış ve serbest basınç mukavemeti ile akma değerleri bulunmuştur. Sıcaklık-serbest basınç mukavemeti ve sıcaklık-akma ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Sonuç kısmında sıcaklığın asfalta etkisi değerlendirilmiştir. SUMMARY Master's Thesis INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE TO THE PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF ASPHALT CONCRETE Emrullah D A?DELEN Fırat University Graduate School of Science and Technology Department of Civil Engineering 1999, Page:48 In this study,the effect of temperature on the physical properties of asphalt concrete was investigated. The experiment was carried out the aggregates and asphalt cement which was taken from Elazığ Municipality and it was seen that these materials were suitable to the standards. Marshall stability test was done on these materials using the mean of the choosed aggregates size distribution, and the optimum bituminous percent was determined. New samples were prepared by using this optimum perceatage and one-axial comppressive strength and yield parameters were determined by testing on different temperatures. Temperature-one axial compressive strength and temperature- yielding relations were invastigated. Then the effect of temperature to the asphalt was concluded.
