Özet
Toplumun temelini oluşturan aile; bireyin biyolojik, sosyolojik, ekonomik gibi birçok açıdan ihtiyacını karşılamakla beraber eğitiminde temelinin atıldığı bir kurumdur. Sosyal bir varlık olan insanın; hayata hazırlanmasında, doğru-yanlışı ayırt etmede ve sorumluluklarını bilen bir birey olarak yetişmesinde en önemli yardımı ve desteği ailesinden görür. Çocukluk dönemi; yaşam boyu öğrenme kapasitesine sahip olan insanın kapasitesinin en verimli olduğu dönem olması nedeniyle bu dönemin anne-baba tarafından iyi değerlendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Ailede verilen eğitim konusunda birçok çalışma yapılmış olsa da Gazzâli'ye göre çocuk eğitiminde ailenin yeri ve önemi ile ilgili yeterince araştırma yapılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Gazzâli'ye göre çocuk eğitiminde ailenin yeri ve önemi vurgulanırken, eğitimin temellerinin atıldığı ailede; çocuğun nasıl eğitilmesi gerektiği ve onlarla kurulacak iletişim dilinin eğitimin kalitesi üzerinde ne derece etkili olduğu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

The family, which constitutes the basis of society, is an institution that meets the biological, sociological and economic needs of the individual in many respects, as well as laying the foundation for education. As a social being, human beings receive the most important help and support from their families in preparing for life, distinguishing between right and wrong and growing up as an individual who knows their responsibilities. Since childhood is the most productive period for human beings who have the capacity for lifelong learning, this period should be evaluated well by parents. Although many studies have been conducted on the education given in the family, it has been determined that there is not enough research on the place and importance of the family in child education according to al-Ghazāli. In this study, while emphasizing the place and importance of the family in child education according to al-Ghazāli, it is tried to reveal how the child should be educated in the family where the foundations of education are laid and how effective the language of communication to be established with them is on the quality of education.
