oz KUMLUCA'DAKİ SERA ÜRETİCİLERİNİN EKONOMİK VE SOSYAL YAPILARI Arda, Didem Yüksek Lisans, Şehir ve Bölge Planlama Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Duran TARAKLI Eylül 1999, 89 sayfa Bu çalışmanın amacı; Kumluca'daki sera üreticüerinin sosyo - ekonomik yapılarım incelemektir. Bu amaçla çalışmanın başlıca iki problemini oluşturan,“seracılıkta ürün verimliliği nasıl arttırılabilir”ve“Ortakçılık düzeninin seracılık ve üretimdeki rolü, pozitif ve negatif etkileri nelerdir”sorularına cevap aranmıştır. Türkiye seralanndaki ürün verimliliği diğer ülkelerle karşılaştırıldığı zaman, masraflarının aynı olmasına rağmen, daha az olduğu göıiilmektedir. Çünkü, sera üreticilerinin büyük bir kısmı seralanndaki işlemleri (termometre ve ısıtma sistemlerini ayarlama v.b.) manuel olarak yapmakta ve özellikle sosyo - ekonomik nedenlerden dolayı modern teknoloji diğer ülkelerde olduğu kadar kullanılmamaktadır. Bu koşullar altında, problemleri ortadan kaldırmak için etkin planlama kararlanmn alınması gerekmektedir.

ABSTRACT ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL STRUCTURE OF GREENHOUSE PRODUCERS IN KUMLUCA Arda, Didem M.S., Department of City and Regional Planning Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Duran TARAKLI September 1999, 89 pages The main aim of this study is to investigate the economic and social structure of greenhouse producers in Kumluca. Therefore, two questions;“How the productivity of crops can be increased”and,“What is the positive and negative effects and status of the sharecropper in the greenhouse cultivation and also in production”are, the main problems of the study. The crop productivity of the greenhouses in Turkey is lower comparison with the other places around the world, in spite of the paying same cost. This is because, cultivators operate the greenhouses manually (watch the thermometer and adjust the heating system ext). It is seen that modern technology is not used as it is in other countries due to economic and social reasons. Under these circumstances, the task of the planner is to develop an effective planning tools so as to overcome the problems of the greenhouse producers.
