Özet
Kureyş kabilesi, birçok aileden müteşekkil bir kabiledir. Hz. Peygamber'in (sas) Hâşimoğulları ailesine mensup olması, Kureyş kabilesi içinde bu kabileyi en meşhur hale getirmiştir. Ancak Kureyş kabilesinde Hâşimoğulları kadar meşhur olmasa da Benî Ümeyye ailesinin önemli bir yeri vardır. Benî Ümeyye ailesinin meşhur olamaması ise, bu aileye mensup meşhur kişilerin Hz. Peygamber'e karşı takındıkları tavırlarıdır. Ayrıca Hz. Peygamber'e akrabalık olarak en yakın olmalarına rağmen, İslâmiyet'i en son kabul eden kabilelerden olmaları sebebiyledir. Hz. Peygamber'in hayatının ve tebliğ ettiği mesajın doğru bir şekilde anlaşılması hususunda muhatapları olan taraftarları kadar kendisine muhalefet edenlerin tanınması da büyük öneme sahiptir. Bu meyanda Benî Ümeyye ailesinin İslâm öncesinde ve İslâm sonrasında nasıl bir role sahip olduğunun ortaya konulması bir ihtiyaç haline gelmiştir. Bu ihtiyacın karşılanması adına çalışmamızda Benî Ümeyyeli şahısların Hz. Peygamberle ilişkileri analiz edilerek tebliğe karşı tavırları sistematik olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Böylece Hz. Peygamber'in öncesinden, vefatına kadarki dönemde Benî Ümeyye ailesinin genel olarak tarihi portresi çıkarılmıştır. Benî Ümeyye ailesinin atalarından miras olarak aldığı asabiyet duygusu, onları Hz. Peygamber'e ve tebliğine karşı muhalefete sevk etmiştir. Bu muhalefetin sahiplerinin ve muhalefet tarzlarının bilinmesi Hz. Peygamber'in anlaşılmasına katkı sağlayacaktır. Çalışma Hz. Peygamber'in vefatına kadar Benî Ümeyye ailesi hakkında yapılacak çalışmalara kaynaklık oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca Benî Ümeyye ailesinin Hz. Peygamber'in vefatından sonraki dönemlerde aile olarak araştırılmasının bir ihtiyaç olduğu saptanmıştır.

The Quraysh tribe is a tribe consisting of many families. The fact that the Prophet (sas) belonged to the Hashimites family made this tribe the most famous among the Quraysh tribe. However, the Banu Umayya family has an important place although it is not as famous as the Hashimoğulları in the Quraysh tribe. The reason why the Banu Umayya family could not become famous was the attitude of the famous people in this family towards the Prophet Muhammad. In addition, although they are closest in kinship of the Prophet Muhammad (sas), It is because they were among the last tribes to accept Islam. In order to understand the life of the Prophet Muhammad and the message he preached correctly, it is of great importance to recognize those who oppose him as well as his followers. In this context, it has become a necessity to reveal the role of the Banu Umayya family before and after Islam. In order to meet this need, the people from Banu Umayya relations with the Prophet were analyzed and their attitudes towards the preaching were systematically revealed in our study. Thus, in the period before the Prophet until his death, a general historical portrait of the Banu Umayya family was produced. The feeling of irritability that the Banu Umayya family inherited from their ancestors led them to oppose the Prophet and his message. Knowing the owners of this opposition and their opposition styles will contribute to the understanding of the Prophet. The study constitutes a source for the studies to be made about the Banu Umayya family until the death of the Prophet. In addition, it has been determined that there is a need to investigate the Banu Umayya family as a family in the periods after the death of the Prophet.
