Özet
Kur'ân-ı Kerîm insanların dünya ve ahiret saadetini kazanmaları için in dirilmiştir. Bir hidayet rehberi olarak inen Kur'ân-ı Kerîm sunduğu mesajın mu- tahapları tarafından daha iyi anlaşılması için çeşitli üsluplar kullanmıştır. Bu üsluplardan bir tanesi de kıssalar üslûbudur. Kıssalar üslubuyla geçmişlerin yaşanmış tarihî olayları Kur'ân muhataplarına anlatılarak ibret ve öğüt almaları amaçlanmıştır. Kehf Sûresinde anlatılan kıssalardan biri olan Ashâb-ı Kehf kıssası ile tarihte yaşanan tevhid ve şirk mücadelesi anlatılmakta ve Allah'ın inanları kuşatan ilâhî lütfü çarpıcı bir şekilde gözler önüne serilmektedir. Ayrıca bu kıssada ahiretin gerçek olduğu gençlerin yıllarca mağarada uyutulduktan sonra tekrar diriltilmeleriyle ispat edilmiş, Allah Teâlâ'nın kudretinin herşeye yettiği açıkça ortaya konmuş ve inkarcılara en güzel cevap verilmiştir. Ayrıca sûrede anlatılan kıssalarda, Kur'ân muhtevasında yer alan diğer kıssaların uydurma ve hayal ürünü olmadığı, aksine tarihî bir gerçek olduğu açıkça ortaya konmuştur. Böylece Kur'ân tarihî bir olayı gayesine uygun olarak kul lanmakla insanların ibret ve öğüt almalarını sağlamıştır.

The Glorious Qur'an was sent down with the aim of providing human-beings happiness both in this world and hereafter. The Glorious Qur'an, a divine guide, uses a number of different literary styles in order to convey the message it presents to its readers at best way. One of these Qur'anic styles is narrative. By introducing the stories of the ancient nations to the readers of the Qur'an in narrative style it is aimed to ensure that they would receive admonition and lesson. The story of the“Men of the Cave”, one of the narratives of the Qur'an in Chapter al-Kahf, describes the struggle between tawhid (the belief in oneness of God) and polytheism throughout the history and exhibits very strikingly that God's divine favour and blessings cover all the believers. Furthermore, by narrating the raising of young men once again into life after that they fell into very long sleep in the cave, the reality of life in hereafter has been proved. Thus the power of God has been explicitly displayed and the best answers have been given to disbelievers. In addition, in the stories occurring in Chapter al-Kahf it has been clearly clarified that the other Qur'anic stories are not fictions or products of imagination but references to actual historical events. Thus the Qur'an shows how to ensure men to take admonition and lesson by utilising a historical event in accordance with its purpose.
