124 SUMMARY The European Countries especially Germany showed very fast development in the industrial area after the Second World War. As a result of this industrial development these countries as well as solving their unemployment problems, also seeked labour from other not so fast developing countries. The Mediterrian Countries involving Turkey had been the answer to this need for labour. At the begining both sides which employed foreign labour and which supplied labour wer only interestied in the economic outcomes of this migration. However eventually both sides had to face to the social and cultural problems of labour immigration. In this paper, the economic, cultural, social and political problems which the Turkish workers are having in Europe, have been looked in three sections; the frist section investigates the concept from the perspective of labourers, who went to Europe their left behind relatives and labourers who come back. The second section, investigates the approach in Turkish Cinema and the films which are made in order the question the immigration's different aspects, including labourers and their relatives. In the last section projecting the 40 year old immigration procedure; Turkish workers are now becoming workers with some legal rights rather then visiting workers which is what their situation was before. In spite of these legal arrangements- which are far from satisfactory- Turkish people who work in Europe still have a lot of problems today. The reflection of these problems on the Turkish Cinema have been looked in to in detail. Consequently the wish is that neglecting the Turkish Cinema who has been any social issues will become more sensitive to the problems of labour immigration. S\'üH
