Özet
Belâgat-i Osmaniye 1882'de Cevdet Paşa tarafından yazılmış bir belagat kitabıdır. Eserin orijinali Osmanlı Türkçe'siyle olup bu şekilde dokuz defa basılmıştır. Fakat dili artık eskimiş olmakla anlaşılması biraz zorlaşmıştır. Halbuki bu eser hem edebiyat alanında önemli bir kaynaktır, hem de Türkçe belagat eserleri arasında en önde gelenidir, hem de bunlar içinde belâgati tam kadro veren ilk eserdir Eserin girişinde belagat ilminin gelişimi, mukaddimesinde çoğu mantıktan alınma genel belagat terimlerinin tanıtımı, meani bölümünde sözün hâlin gerektirdiğine uygun söylenmesi, beyan bölümünde meramı anlatmanın muhtelif yollan, bedi' bölümünde sözü süsleme şekilleri anlatılmaktadır. Bedi'e tarih düşürmeyle ilgili bir fasıl eklenmiştir. Bizim çalışmamız Belâgat-i Osmaniye'nin terim ve kavramlarını tesbit etmeye yönelik bir çalışmadır. Edebiyat bilimi terminoloji hazinesine katkı sağlamak maksadıyla yaptığımız bu çalışmanın içinde XIX. asırda Osmanlı'nın yenileşme gayretleri, Mekteb-i Hukuk ve Belâgat-i Osmaniye'nin telif ortamı, Cevdet Paşa'nın kısa hayatı, belâgatin kısa tarihçesi, eser hakkında yapılan çalışmaların değerlendirilmesiyle düzen, tertib ve özeti; ondaki terim ve kavramların tesbiti, lâtin alfabesiyle metni, terim ve kavramlardan eserde tanımlan bulunanların alfabetik listesi, dipnotlann hazırlanmasında başvurulan kaynaklar, isimler ve eserler dizini, terimler ve kavramlar dizini yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın terim ve kavramlarının tesbiti safhasında iki türlü hareket edilmiştir: Birincisi, eserde tanımlan verilen terimleri, böyle bir başlığa sahip olup olmadıklanna bakılmaksızın, başlıklamak suretiyle eserdeki sırası içinde ortaya koyup bunlan anlaşılır hâle getirmek; ikincisi, eserde geçmekle beraber tam bir tanımı verilmeyen terim ve kavranılan başka kaynaklardan faydalanarak dipnota indirmek suretiyle aydınlatmaktır. Bu ikinci yaptığımızın eserin anlaşılmasına önemli bir katkı sağlayacağını umuyoruz. Dizinler bu çalışmadan faydalanmayı kolaylaştıracaktır. Çalışmamızın edebiyat âlemine faydalı olmasını dilerim.

Belâgat-i Osmaniye was written as a rhetory book in 1882 by Ahmed Cevdet Paşa. It was originally written in Ottoman Turkish, and this book was published many times by than. But its language was out of date in this days. For this reason its language is incomprehensible. However this work is equally important for the literature science. This book is one of then most important rhetoric books among the others. It was telled in the work's entry is that rhetoric sience process, in the inroduction is that was given then the logic there are general rhetoric terms, in the meani'es chapter is state of need appropriateness how was said, in the beyaris chapter to express to the intention various styles, in the bedPs chapter to consist of word's embellish ways. A section was added that the ebced was expressed. Our work is study to determine devoted to that terms and concepts in the work that is takes part in it. With the aim that if I made to in the study takes part Ottoman's position at the nineteenth century, to become modern's efforts, Cevdet Paşa's services, the Law Faculty and lessons were taught at the it, Belâgat-i Osmaniye's atmosphere of compilation, brief biography of Cevdet Paşa, short histori'es of rhetoric sience, specially it was evaluated about of Belâgat-i Osmaniye of that it was made the studies, the work's order and arrangement, it was determined in the work of terms and concepts, they were given state alphabetical order lists, the work's nouns and works indexes, terms and concepts of indexes. It was acted two various in stage of that it was determined. Then of these of initial definition was given terms in the work, it didn't loked to so that title was had with a cap was given order of into work put forward and to bring to stage of that it was understoodable; its of second, it wasnt given defination terms and concepts with to pass in the work with to benefit from the other sources I demonstrated into footnotes and I clarified these. I think this second that I made to that the work was understood that it was a great of contribution The study of that I was made will supply what was it been terms and concepts into the Belâgat-i Osmaniye and what was these substitute that it was understood them.
