Özet
Çağımızda ki her meslek sahibi gibi bilgi uzmanlarının / profesyonellerinin; bilgi arama davranışlarının, bilginin bulunduğu ortamların, kullanıcı alışkanlıklarının ve bilgi iletişim teknolojilerinin sürekli değişimi ve gelişimi göz önüne alındığında bu değişime uyum sağlaması zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Bu değişimin hareket noktası hiç kuşkusuz mesleki eğitim sürecidir. Mesleki eğitim süreçlerinin; toplumsal ve evrensel değişimlere ayak uydurabilmesi için kendini sürekli revize ederek mevcut beklentileri karşılaması gerekmektedir. Mezun profillerindeki farklılıkların ortadan kalkması için geleneksel kütüphanecilik ve arşivcilik dersleri ile mesleki değişime eşilik eden dersler ortak bir paydada yeterlilik sağlamalıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; ülkemizde Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi lisans eğitimi veren üniversiteler ile Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, Almanya ve İngiltere'de bilgi bilimi, bilgi çalışmaları ve bilgi yönetimi gibi farklı isimlerle adlandırılan bölümlerin güncel programlarını biraraya getirerek programlara dair değerlendirmeler yapmak ve ülkemiz adına bir BBY eğitim modeli sunmaktır. Çalışma kapsamına 13' ü ülkemizde olmak üzere 16 farklı üniversitenin 2021-2022 programları dâhil edilmiştir. Söz konusu programlar mesleki yeterlilik ve öne çıkan ve/veya geride kalan yönler kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Dersler, BBY alanının çatısı altında bulunan bazı alt alanlar bazında kategorilendirilmiştir. Mesleğin temelini oluşturan geleneksel yönlerinin korunması gerekliliği ile günümüzde bilgi teknolojilerinin ve bilgisayar becerilerinin ön plana çıktığı fikri birlikte sentezlenmiştir. Çalışmanın Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi eğitimi ve istihdam alanlarındaki ortak beklentiler adına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmüştür.

Considering the constant change and development of information seekers/professionals, information seeking behaviors, information environments, user habits and information communication technologies, like every professional in our age, it has become imperative to adapt to this change. The starting point of this change is undoubtedly the vocational training process. Vocational education processes; In order to keep up with the social and universal changes, it needs to meet the current expectations by constantly revising itself. In order to eliminate the differences in graduate profiles, traditional library and archiving courses and courses accompanying professional change should provide proficiency in a common denominator. In the purpose of this study; Our aim is to bring together the current programs of the universities that provide Information and Document Management undergraduate education in our country and the departments named with different names such as information science, information studies and information management in the United States, Germany and England, to make evaluations about the programs and to present a BBY education model on behalf of our country. The 2021-2022 programs of 16 different universities, 13 of which are in our country, were included in the scope of the study. The programs in question were evaluated within the scope of professional competence and prominent and/or remaining aspects. The courses are categorized on the basis of some sub-fields under the umbrella of the BBY field. The necessity of preserving the traditional aspects that form the basis of the profession and the idea that information technologies and computer skills will come to the fore have been synthesized together. It is thought that the study will contribute to the common expectations in the fields of Information and Document Management training and employment.
