Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin müzik dinleme alışkanlıkları ile duygu durumlarının ilişkisi araştırılmasıdır. Uşak ili Merkez'de Ahmet Ali Aşcı, Şehit Mehmet Çetin İmam Hatip Ortaokulu'nda okuyan 8. sınıf öğrencilerinden tesadüfen seçilmiş toplam 120 öğrenciye anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel verilerinin toplanmasında çocukların kişisel bilgilerini toplamak amacıyla“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”kullanılmıştır. Bu anket ile bu yaş ergenlerinin en sevdiği müzik türleri, şarkıcılar, vb. saptanmıştır. Uygulanan anket doğrultusunda öğrencilere duygu durumu ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın verileri çözümlenirken, örnekleme seçilen öğrenciler hakkındaki bilgileri içeren kişisel bilgi formu, duygu durum ölçeği değerlendirilerek frekans ve yüzde tabloları hazırlanmış ve ilişkisel tarama modelinde analiz yapılmıştır. Değerlendirme sonucunda; öğrencilerin müzik dinleme alışkanlıklarında en çok yer tutan müzik türlerinin %51,7 oranında Türkçe pop-rock , %22,0 oranında Hip-hop, %18,6 oranında arabesk müzik olduğu, öğrencilerin en çok sevdikleri 3 şarkıcının Müslüm Gürses, Mavi Gri ve Sefo olduğu, en çok Arabesk Müzik dinleyenlerin olumsuz duygu durum hissetme düzeylerinin, Türkçe veya Yabancı Pop Rock dinleyenlere göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde diğerlerinden yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda öğrencileri eğitim yoluyla olumsuz duygulardan koruyup, olumlu duyguların yükseltilmesini sağlamak amacıyla okul içi sosyal etkinliklerde seçilecek müzik türlerinde öğretmenlere yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the music listening habits of secondary school students and their emotional states. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to a total of 120 randomly selected 8th grade students studying at Ahmet Ali Aşcı Secondary School and Şehit Mehmet Çetin İmam Hatip Secondary School in the city center of Uşak. Personal information form was used to collect the personal information of the children in the collection of quantitative data of the study. With this survey, adolescents of this age favorite music genres, singers, etc. detected. In line with the applied questionnaire, the mood scale was applied to the students. While analyzing the data of this study, frequency and percentage tables were prepared by evaluating the personal information form and mood scale containing the information about the students selected for the sample, and the analysis was carried out in the relational screening model. As a result of the evaluation; The music genres that have the most place in students' music listening habits are Turkish pop-rock at 51.7%, Hip-hop music at 22.0%, arabesque music at a rate of 18.6%, and the 3 most favorite singers of the students are Müslüm Gürses, Mavi It was determined that the negative mood levels of those who listen to Arabesque Music the most, are statistically significantly higher than those who listen to Turkish or Foreign Pop Rock. In line with the data obtained in the research, it is thought that it will help teachers in the music genres to be chosen in school social activities in order to protect students from negative emotions and increase positive emotions through education.
