Özet
Bu çalışmada 6. Sınıf Üretim, Dağıtım ve Tüketim öğrenme alanı kazanımlarının derin ekoloji yaklaşımı ile işlenmesi sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Tüm etkinlikler Cornell'in öğrenme döngüsüne göre altı haftayı kapsayacak şekilde hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmada karma yönteme göre hareket edilmiş, nicel ve nitel ölçme araçlarına da yer verilmiştir. Çalışmada kullanılan akademik başarı testi araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiş, tutum ölçeği ise geliştiren araştırmacıdan izin alınarak kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencileri, öğretmenler ve kolaylaştırıcılar ile görüşülmesi için görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Portfolyolarda yer alan ödevleri değerlendirebilmek için bütüncül değerlendirme anahtarları hazırlanmış ve öz değerlendirme formları ise yine araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre akademik başarı ve çevreye yönelik tutum boyutunda incelendiğinde deney ve kontrol gruplarının, ön test, son test ve kalıcılık testleri üzerindeki etkisinin anlamsız olduğu görülmüştür. Sınıf dışı eğitim uygulamaları ile öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve çevreye yönelik tutumlarında artış sağlanmış ve aradan geçen iki ay sonrasında da kalıcılığın devam ettiği saptanmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin sınıf dışı eğitim sürecine ilişkin olumlu görüş ve düşünceler içinde oldukları, deney grubu öğrencilerin derin ekoloji ve onunla ilintili konular hakkında daha somut ve gerçeğe yakın açıklamalar yaptıkları saptanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin ve kolaylaştırıcıların da sınıf dışı eğitim uygulamaları sürecinin olumlu etkilerine ilişkin açıklamalar yaptıkları görülmüştür. Portfolyolardan elde edilen sonuçlara göre deney grubu öğrencilerinin süreçteki akademik başarılarının daha fazla olduğu, bunun da birinci elden deneyimler edinmenin olumlu etkilerinden kaynaklandığı düşünülmektedir. Sınıf dışı eğitim uygulamalarına eğitim öğretim süreçlerinde daha sık yer verilebilir. Bu çalışma kapsamında geliştirilen etkinliklerin farklı okullarda, uygun öğrenme ortamlarında uygulanması sağlanabilir.

In this study, it has been tried to provide the 6th grade Production, Distribution and Consumption learning area acquisitions to be processed with a deep ecology approach. All activities are prepared to cover six weeks according to Cornell's learning cycle. In the study, the mixed method was used, and quantitative and qualitative measurement tools were also included. The academic achievement test used in the study was developed by the researcher and the attitude scale was used with the permission of the researcher. An interview form was prepared to interview the students of the experimental and control groups, teachers and facilitators. In order to evaluate the assignments in the portfolios, holistic evaluation keys were prepared and self-evaluation forms were prepared by the researcher. According to the findings obtained from the study, when examined in terms of academic achievement and attitude towards the environment, it was seen that the effect of the experimental and control groups on the pre-test, post-test and permanence tests were insignificant. With outdoor education practices, students' academic achievement and attitudes towards the environment have increased, and it has been determined that permanence continues after two months. It was determined that the students in the experimental and control groups had positive views and thoughts about the outdoor education process, and the students in the experimental group made more concrete and realistic explanations about deep ecology and related topics. It was observed that teachers and facilitators also made statements about the positive effects of the process of outdoor education practices. According to the results obtained from the portfolios, it is thought that the academic success of the experimental group students is higher in the process, and this is due to the positive effects of gaining first-hand experiences. Outdoor education practices can be included more frequently in education and training processes. The activities developed within the scope of this study can be implemented in different schools and appropriate learning environments.
