Özet
21.yüzyılın başlarından itibaren insan yaşamı dijital teknolojiyle birlikte şekillenmektedir. Her dönemde olduğu gibi bugün de üretim süreçleri ve sanat ortamları bu sürecin malzemesi ve dinamiklerini içinde barındırır. Günümüzde sanat etkinliklerinin dijital çağa paralel olarak sanal mekanlarda (hipermekanlarda) üretildiği görülmektedir. Fotoğraf sanatı da bu dinamiklerin üretiminde ve kullanımında en çok başvurulan referans alanlarından birisidir. Sürekli gelişme gösteren fotoğraf teknolojisi sanal mekanlardaki bu üretim sürecinin önemli bir parçası durumundadır. Fotoğrafın özünde yer alan“fotoğraf çekme”eylemi zaman zaman“fotoğraf tasarlama”eylemine, dijital teknolojide ise yapay zeka algoritmalarıyla“fotoğraf yaratma”eylemine dönüştürülmektedir. Çeşitli fotoğraf görüntü işleme ve tasarlama programları ile (Adobe Photoshop, SkecthUp, Lumion vb.) internete yüklenmiş olan fotoğraf veya imajlarla yeni bir fotoğraf/görsel tasarlanabilmektedir. Fotoğraf sanatının üretim sürecinin dönüştürülme ve dijital teknoloji ile tasarlama süreci ve bu sürecin fotoğrafik dile katkıları yeniden irdelenmektedir. Bu tez çalışması üç ana bölüm başlığında planlanmaktadır. Birinci bölümde dijital fotoğrafın gelişim süreci incelenecek, ikinci bölümde hipermekanı (sanalmekan) tanımlayabilmek için medyalararasılık ve yeni medya kavramları ele alınarak hipermekan kavramı irdelenecek, üçüncü bölümde ise bu konuyla ilgili çalışan sanatçı örnekleri üzerinden ve hipermekan tasarımı nasıl yapılabilir üzerine örnekler araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada hipermekanda oluşturulan ya da tasarlanan fotoğrafların gerçeklik algısına etkileri, yeni bir fotoğrafik anlatım dilinin oluşturulması ve elde edilen görüntünün fotoğraf sanatındaki yerinin tartışılması hedeflenmektedir.

Since the beginning of the 21st century, human life has been shaped by digital technology. As in every period, today's production processes and art environments contain the material and dynamics of this process. Today, it is seen that art activities are produced in virtual spaces (hyperspaces) in parallel with the digital age. The art of photography is one of the most referenced reference areas in the production and use of these dynamics. Continuously developing photography technology is an important part of this production process in virtual spaces. The act of“taking a photo”, which is at the core of photography, is sometimes transformed into the act of“designing a photo”, and in digital technology, it is transformed into an act of“creating a photo”with artificial intelligence algorithms. A new photo/image can be designed with photos or images uploaded to the internet with various photo image processing and design programs (Adobe Photoshop, SkecthUp, Lumion, etc.). The process of transforming the production process of photography and designing with digital technology and the contribution of this process to the photographic language are re-examined. This thesis study is planned under three main chapters. In the first part, the development process of digital photography will be examined, in the second part, the concepts of intermedia and new media will be discussed in order to define hyperspace (virtual space), and the concept of hyperspace will be examined. As a result, in this study, it is aimed to discuss the effects of the photographs created or designed in hyperspace on the perception of reality, the creation of a new photographic expression language and the place of the obtained image in the art of photography.
