Özet
Coğrafya kavramı geçmişten günümüze, farklı kimselere farklı şeyler ifade etmiştir. İlk zamanlar daha çok dünyanın oluşumu, yerlerin başlıca doğal ve beşeri özelliklerinin tasvir edilmesi şeklinde bir coğrafya algısı söz konusu olmuştur. Ancak son iki yüzyılda coğrafya bilimsel bir kimliğe bürünerek farklı bir boyut kazanmıştır. Coğrafi keşifler, sanayi devrimi, bilim ve teknolojinin gelişmesi, salgın ve doğal afetlerin meydana gelmesi gibi gelişmeler coğrafyanın yeniden anlam kazanmasında ve şekillenmesinde etkili olmuştur. Teknolojinin gelişmesiyle artan ulaşım ağları dünyanın adeta büyük bir köy haline gelmesine, insanlarda zaman mekân kavramının değişmesine, kıtalar arası etkileşimin artmasına, ticaretin, ekonominin, kültürün ve salgın hastalıkların kıtalar arası yayılmasına neden olmuştur. 2019 yılı sonunda ise tüm Dünyayı etkileyen bir salgın baş göstermiştir. Çin'in Wuhan kentinde ortaya çıkan Covid-19 virüsü, günümüzde de çeşitli mutasyonlara uğrayarak etkisini sürdürmeye devam etmektedir. Covid-19 virüsünün pandemi noktasına gelmesi gündelik yaşamda pek çok önemli değişikliği beraberinde getirmiştir. Ülkelerin virüsün yayılım hızını azaltması amacıyla uyguladığı kısıtlamalar ve yasaklar sosyal hayat başta olmak üzere hemen her alanda, kalıplaşmış bilgilerin yeniden anlam kazanmasına neden olmuştur. Bu süreçte mekân kullanımından, harita algısına, tarımsal üretimden ticarete, ulaşımdan turizme kadar coğrafya içeriğindeki hemen her konuda önemli değişimler yaşanmıştır. Doğal olarak tüm bu gelişmeler, insanlar ile doğa arasındaki ilişkilerin yeniden anlamlandırılmasına ve kalıplaşmış bilgilerin değişmesine sebep olmuştur. Bu değişiklikleri keşfetmek ve yeniden anlamlandırmak öncelikle coğrafyacılara düşmüştür. Pandemi ile birlikte değişen algıların coğrafya' ya olan etkisini ölçmek adına yapılan çalışmada lise öğrencileri dikkate alınmıştır. Anket sorularına verilen yanıtlar öğrenciler arasında cinsiyet, sınıf ve okula göre farklılık göstermemiştir. Öğrencilere yöneltilen ankette seçilmiş coğrafya konularına ilişkin; Harita Becerisi, Ekonominin İşlevselliği, Çevre ve Toplum, Turizmin İşlevselliği, Tarımın İşlevselliği, Ülkeler ve Bölgeler konuları bulunmaktadır. Öğrencilerin kendilerine yöneltilen soruların tümünde çoğunlukla bilgi sahibi oldukları ve ortak bir anlayış sergiledikleri anlaşılmaktadır. Öğrencilerin vermiş olduğu cevaplar ile pandemi sürecindeki çalışmalar incelenmiş ve geleceğe yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The concept of geography has meant different things to different people since history. In the,early days, there was a perception of geography in the form of the formation of the world and, the depiction of the main natural and human characteristics of the places.However, in the last two centuries, geography has gained a different dimension by taking on a scientific identity. Geographical discoveries, industrial revolution, development of science and technology, epidemics and natural disasters have been effective in reforming and rebuilding geography. With technology evolving, increased transportation networks reached the global village of the world, changing people's concepts of time and space, increasing intercontinental interaction, spreading trade, economy, culture and epidemics across continents. The Covid-19 virus, which emerged in Wuhan, China at the end of 2019, continues to take effect today by making various mutations. The arrival of the Covid-19 virus at the pandemic point has led to many changes in everyday life. The restrictions and bans imposed by countries to reduce the rate of spread of the virus have set an environment for changes in many areas, especially social life, and for the re-meaning of stereotyped information. However, the process has seen significant changes in almost all areas of geography, from space use, map perception, agricultural production, supply chain and transportation, especially from trade to tourism. In addition, it has led to a re-understanding of relations between humans and nature and a change of stereotyped information. It's down to us geographers to explore and re-understand these changes.In the effort to measure the impact of changing perceptions with Pandemi on geography, high school students were taken into account. The answers given to the questionnaire questions did not differ between students according to gender, class and school. In the questionnaire directed to students; Map skills, the functionality of the economy, the environment and society, the functionality of tourism, the functionality of agriculture, the countries and regions. They stated that the majority did not agree with other questions except for the economic issues and map skills of the students, where the students had the most information. The answers given by the students and the field writings written in the process of pandemi were examined and suggestions were made for the future.
