Türkiye'de belirlenen Echinophora ^L. türlerinin taksonomisi, palinolojisi ve antimikrobiyal aktiviteleri üzerinde araştırmalar

Özet

ÖZET Çalışmada, Türkiye'de yayılışı görülen 6 Echinophora L. türü ile tez konumuz dışında olmasına rağmen Türkiye Florasında E.carvifolia olarak verilen Thecocarpus carvifolius (Boiss.) Hedge & Lamond türünün morfolojik, anatomik, palinolojik ve mikrobiyolojik özellikleri gözlenmiştir. İncelenen türler aşağıda verilmiştir. Echinophora toumefortii Jaub. & Spach (Endemik) Echinophora ohentalis Hedge & Lamond Echinophora trichophylla J. E. Smith (Endemik) Echinophora sibthorpiana Guss. Echinophora chrysantha Freyn & Sint. (Endemik) Echinophora lamondiana B.Yıldız & Z.Bahçecioğlu (Endemik) Thecocarpus carvifolius (Boiss.) Hedge & Lamond (Endemik) Çalışılan türler 1993-1997 yılları arasında Akdeniz, Ege, Marmara, İç ve Doğu Anadolu Bölgeleri'nden toplanmıştır, ilk gözlemler, taze örnekler üzerinde arazide yapılmıştır. Örneklerin bazıları ; morfolojik ve palinolojik incelemeler için herbiye materyali haline getirilmiş, anatomik incelemeler için %70'lik alkole alınarak saklanmış, mikrobiyolojik incelemeler için ise bitkinin toprak altı ve toprak üstü kısımları kullanılmıştır. Türlerin morfolojik tanımlan ve belirgin farklılıkları tayin anahtarı, şekil, fotoğraf ve çizelgelerle belirtilmiştir. Echinophora türleri ile T, carvifolius, Davis'in kareleme sistemine ve illere göre yayılışları harita üzerinde gösterilmiştir. Anatomik çalışmalar, türlerin kök, gövde, petiyol ve yaprakçık orta bölgelerinden alınan enine kesitler ile yaprakçık üst ve alt yüzeyden alınan yüzeysel kesitler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Buna göre türlerdeki bifasiyal, unifasiyal ve ekvifasiyal tipteki yaprakların epiderma sayı ve şekilleri, stoma ve tüy sayısı, stoma indeksi ile stoma indeks oranları verilmiştir.Paiinolojik çalışmada, Echinophora türlerinin yanında karşılaştırma yapmak amacı ile Thecocarpus cinsine ait türlerin polenleri de Wodehouse ve Asetoliz yöntemlerine göre incelenmiştir. Cins ve türlerin tanımları ve belirgin farklılıkları tayin anahtarı, fotoğraf ve çizelgelerle verilmiştir. Ayrıca polenlerin ornemantasyonlarının ayrıntılı incelemeleri S. E. M. 'de yapılmış ve fotoğrafları çekilmiştir. Mikrobiyolojik çalışmada, türlerin çeşitli çözgenlerle elde edilen ekstrelerinin bazı bakteri ve maya üzerine etkileri disk difüzyon, filamentöz funguslar üzerine etkileri ise seyreltme plaka yöntemi ile incelenmiş ve sonuçlar çizelge ve fotoğraflarla gösterilmiştir.

ABSTRACT : INVESTIGATIONS ON TAXONOMIC, PALYNOLOGIC AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITIES OF ECHINOPHORA L. SPECIES DETERMINING IN TURKEY In this study, six species belonging to Echinophora L distributed throughout Turkey and althoug Thecocarpus carvifolius (Boiss.) Hedge & Lamond given as a E.carvifolia on Flora of Turkey was not our subject, their morphological, anatomic, palynologic and microbiologic properties were observed. The species studied are given below: Echinophora toumefortii Jaub. & Spach (Endemic) Echinophora orientalis Hedge & Lamond Echinophora trichophylla J.E.Smith (Endemic) Echinophora sibthorpiana Guss. Echinophora chrysantha Freyn & Sint. (Endemic) Echinophora lamondiana B.Yıldız & Z.Bahçecioğlu (Endemic) Thecocarpus carvifolius (Boiss.) Hedge & Lamond (Endemic) The species were collected from Mediterranean, Aegean, the Marmara, the east and inner Anatolian regions between the years 1993 and 1997. The first observations were carried out on the fresh materials in the field. Some of the samples were prepared as a herbal material for morphologic and palynologic studies and the others were kept in 70% of alcohol for anatomic studies. Also some of the samples, the above ground parts and the below ground parts, were used for microbiological studies. The morphological identifications and consipicious differences of the species were determined with figures, photographs, tables and identification key. Echinophora species and T.carvifolius were shown an a map according to Davis's squaring system and the distribution of the cities.The anatomic studies were done on the cross section of the middle zone of the roots, stems, petiol and leaves; on the tangential sections of the leaves. Epidermal numbers and shapes, stomata and hair numbers, stomata indices and the rates of stomata indices of the bifasial, unifasial and ekvifasial leaves were determined. In the palynologic study, the pollen grains of Echinophora species were investigated using wodehouse and asetolysis method. The pollen grains of Thecocarpus carvifolius were also investigated to make a comparison with Echinophora species. The identification of genus and species, consipicious differences, identification key, photographs and tables were given. At the same time the detail investigations of pollens ornemantation were done with S.E.M. and their photographs were taken. !n the microbiological study, the effects of analytes, obtained by extraction of plants, were investigated on some bacteria and yeast using disc diffusion method and the effects of analytes were also investigated on fungi using dilution plate method. The results are shown on tables and photographs.
