Özet
Son dönemlerde, hızla gelişen bilim ve teknolojinin de kısmi etkisiyle fiziksel ve düşünsel olarak insanın ve dünyanın köklü bir dönüşüm geçirdiği, geçirmekte olduğu veya geçirmesi gerektiği fikirleri etrafında biçimlenen insan sonrası kuramlar, günümüzün hararetli tartışma konuları arasındadır. Bu tez, insan sonrası kuramdan (Posthümanizm) ve ilgili tartışmalardan hareketle, Fransız felsefeci Michel Serres'in görüşleri rehberliğinde 2000 sonrası popüler bilim kurgu sinemasına bakmaktadır. Akademi kadar medyada da ilgi gören konu, felsefeden teknolojiye uzanan multidisipliner bir alan olmakla beraber en yaygın ve etkili biçimde bilim kurgu sinemasıyla kitlelere yansımaktadır. Bu nedenle tartışma, artık bir sosyal kuram işlevi de gördüğü düşünülen bilim kurgu üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Bu doğrultuda tez çalışmasında öncelikle genel hatlarıyla insan sonrası kuram ve Türkiye'de az bilinen Michel Serres felsefesi aktarılmış, ardından 2000 sonrası popüler bilim kurgu sinemasını yansıtabilecek bir film listesi belirlenerek içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Son olaraksa, elde edilen verilerin de ışığında konuya uygunlukları gözetilerek seçilen filmler, geniş disiplinlerarasılığı ile zengin ve ufuk açıcı okuma imkanları sunan Serres düşüncesi rehberliğinde incelenmiştir. Sonuçta çalışmamız, popüler bilim kurgu sinemasının genel olarak muhafazakâr eğilimli bir kaçış sineması olduğu ve distopyalarla belli bir korku iklimini yaydığı gibi varsayımları doğrulamıştır. Öte yandan popüler bilim kurguda çok çeşitli sosyal meselelerin de etkin biçimde tartışıldığı ve geleceğe dair ciddi anlayış değişikliğine yardımcı olabilecek nüvelerin mevcut olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca çalışmada, Serres düşüncesinin bilimsel altyapısını sağlayan kaos kuramı ve termodinamik gibi konularla, onun parazit, nesnemsi, hominescence, tanatokrasi, pantopya ve yumuşak kirlilik gibi temel kavramları tartışılmış ve film okumalarında bu kavramlardan yararlanılmıştır.

With the influence of rapidly developing science and technology, recently flourished posthuman theories, which are shaped around the ideas that humans and the world, physically and intellectually, are undergoing or should undergo a radical transformation, are heated topics of academic discussion today. This thesis looks at popular science fiction cinema after 2000's, based on a posthuman theory (Posthumanism) and guided by the views of the French philosopher Michel Serres. The subject is a multidisciplinary field but it is most widely reflected to the masses with sci-fi cinema. For this reason, the discussion was conducted over science fiction, which is now thought to function as a social theory. In this direction, posthuman theory and the philosophy of Michel Serres were conveyed, and then a content analysis was made from a movie list that could reflect the popular sci-fi cinema after 2000's. Finally, the selected films were analyzed under the guidance of Serres' stimulating thought. Ultimately, our study confirmed the assumptions that popular sci-fi cinema is an escapist cinema which is generally conservative leaning and propagates a climate of horror with dystopias. On the other hand, it has been seen that various social issues are also actively discussed and there are already cores that can lead to serious changes in mindset of societies. Also in the study, topics (chaos theory, thermodynamics etc.) which provide the scientific infrastructure of Michel Serres' thought and his basic concepts such as parasite, quasi-object, hominescence, tanatocracy, pantopia and soft pollution were discussed and used in movie readings.
