Özet
Bu çalışmada İslam düşünce tarihinde ilk dönemden başlayarak İslam alimlerinin ilgilendiği konulardan biri olan büyük günah/kebîre meselesine, İmam Mâtürîdî'nin Te'vîlâtü'l- Kur'ân isimli tefsirinde bakışı ele alınmıştır. İmam Mâtürîdî'nin Te'vîlâtü'l- Kur'ân'ında Büyük Günah Meselesine Bakışı başlıklı çalışma giriş, iki bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde; araştırmanın konusu ve amacı, önem ve yöntemi belirtilmiş, İmam Mâtürîdî ve eserleri hakkında kısa bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde; günahın ne olduğu tespit edilerek Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de nasıl geçtiği, günah anlamında hangi kelimelerin kullanıldığı belirlenip hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Hz. Peygamber (sav.) ve halifeler döneminde büyük günah kapsamına giren bazı olaylar örnek olarak alınmıştır. İslam toplumunda iç çatışmalara ve hatta ciddi bölünmelere neden olan, büyük günah meselesinin ortaya çıkışının tarihi süreci verildikten sonra büyük günahın nasıl tanımlandığı ve sınıflandırıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu bölümde İslam mezheplerinin büyük günah meselesine yaklaşımları ve büyük günah işleyen kişinin dünya ve ahiretteki durumuyla ilgili görüşleri de ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde; Mâtürîdî'nin Te'vîlat'ında büyük günah meselesine bakışı üzerinde durulmuştur. Onun büyük günah meselesine yaklaşımı ve buna bağlı olarak lemem, iman, irca, inkâr gibi kavramları ele alış biçimi irdelenmiştir. Bunun yanında insanı günaha sevk eden etkenleri tespiti ve insanın fıtratı ile ilgili yorumları, cehennemin ebedîliği ve büyük günah işleyenin/ mürtekib-i kebîrenin cehennemdeki durumu hakkındaki görüşleri irdelenerek onun bu konularda izlediği yol ve yöntem belirlenmiştir. Bu konularda seçtiği yorumların gerekçeleri incelenerek, tefsir ve tevilini yaparken ortaya koyduğu usulün tutarlılığı değerlendirilmiştir. Büyük günahın bağışlanması ile ilgili olarak Mâtürîdî'nin Te'vîlât'ında üzerinde durduğu tövbenin ne olduğu, insanın affı konusu, günahların tövbeli- tövbesiz bağışlanması, kabul edilmeyecek tövbe, tövbenin kabul şartları, tövbenin gerekliliği gibi meseleler belirlenerek, onun bu konudaki düşünceleri tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde ise çalışma sürecinde elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiştir.

In this study, Imam Māturīdī's view on the issue of great sin/kabir, which is one of the issues that Islamic scholars have been interested in, starting from the first period in the history of Islamic thought, in his commentary named Ta'wîlâtu'l-Qur'ân is discussed. The study titled Imam Māturīdī's View on the Issue of Major Sin in the Ta'wīlātu'l-Qur'ān consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction section, the subject and purpose, importance and method of the research are stated, and brief information is given about Imam Māturīdī and his works. During the period of the Prophet and the caliphs, some events that were included in the scope of major sins were taken as examples. After giving the historical process of the emergence of the major sin issue, which caused internal conflicts and even serious divisions in the Islamic society, it was determined how the major sin was defined and classified. In this section, the approaches of the Islamic sects to the issue of major sin and the views of the person who committed a major sin in this world and in the hereafter are also discussed. In the second part of the study, In Māturīdī's Ta'wīlāt, his view on the issue of great sin is emphasized. His approach to the issue of great sin and, accordingly, the way he handled concepts such as lamam, faith, irca, and denial were examined. In addition, by examining the factors that lead people to sin, his interpretations about the nature of man, the eternity of hell and the situation of the grave sinner/murteb-i kabir in hell, his path and method in these matters were determined. By examining the reasons for the interpretations, he chose on these issues, the consistency of the method he put forward in his tafsir and interpretation was evaluated. Regarding the forgiveness of great sin, issues such as repentance, which Māturīdī emphasizes in his Ta'vīlāt, the subject of forgiveness of man, the forgiveness of sins with repentance and repentance, the repentance that will not be accepted, the acceptance conditions of repentance, the necessity of repentance have been determined and his thoughts on this subject have been determined. In the conclusion part, the findings obtained during the study were evaluated.
