SUMMARY THE EFFECTS OF VARIOUS ADDITIVIES ON THE CLOUD POINTS OF NONIONIC SURFACTANTS The relationship between the cloud points and concentrations of Tween-20 has been studied. The effects of concentration of cationic surfactant, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), and anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sülfate (SDS) on the cloud point of solutions at different concentrations have been investigated. Addition of ionic sürfactants caused to an increment on the cloud point of Tween-20 solutions as expected. Influence of NaCl on the cloud point of Tween-20 with and without ionic sürfactants and influence of homolog series of alcohols (Propanol-Pentanol-Octanol) on the cloud point of Tween-20 also studied. The results obtained were found to be proper to theoretical expectations. 47
