Özet
Sosyal bir kavram niteliğindeki moda, tarihsel süreç içinde önemli gelişimler göstermiş olup; bu gelişim ve değişimlerin kaynağında sosyo-ekonomik hareketler, siyasal değişimler, kültürel akımlar, teknolojideki gelişmeler, bireysel ve toplumsal faktörler gibi çeşitli değişkenler yer almaktadır. İnsanlık tarihi kadar eski bir olgu olan moda, geçmişten günümüze dek sosyal statüyü belirlemede önemli bir görev üstlenmiş ve bu kapsamda toplum içinde ekonomik ve kültürel bazlı sınıfsal ayrımı ifade etmede önemli görevler üstlenmiştir. Moda yüzyıllar boyu büyük bir değişim sergilemiş, günümüze kadar çeşitli değişimlere uğramıştır. Nitekim günümüz modası, ilk insanların kendini doğa ve çevreden koruma amaçlı giyiminden çok farklıdır. Bu tarihi bölünmede şüphesiz moda dönemsel olarak çok farklı çeşitlilikler sergilemiştir. Bu çeşitliliklerden biri de Barok dönem ve Barok dönemin devamı olan Rokoko dönem modasıdır. Bu araştırmada Barok ve Rokoko dönem erkek modası ve erkek modasına etkide bulunan çevresel faktörleri incelenmiştir.

Fashion, which is a social concept, has shown significant developments in the historical process; The source of these developments and changes are various variables such as socio-economic movements, political changes, cultural movements, developments in technology, individual and social factors. Fashion, which is a phenomenon as old as the history of humanity, has undertaken an important task in determining social status from the past to the present, and in this context, it has undertaken important tasks in expressing the economic and cultural-based class distinction within the society. Fashion has undergone a great change over the centuries and has undergone various changes until today. As a matter of fact, today's fashion is very different from the first people's clothing to protect themselves from nature and the environment. Undoubtedly, fashion has exhibited very different variations periodically in this historical division. One of these variations is the Baroque period and the Rococo period fashion, which is the continuation of the Baroque period. In this research, Baroque and Rococo period men's fashion and environmental factors affecting men's fashion were examined.
