Özet
Yeni İpek Yolu, Çin'in öncülüğündeki“Tek Kuşak Tek Yol”(One Belt One Road) projesinin bir parçasıdır. Çin, başta turizm, politik ve ekonomik etkileri olabilecek bu projeyi, Tarihi İpek Yolu'ndan etkilenmiş milletlerle canlandırmak istemektedir. Tarihsel köklerinin güçlü olması nedeniyle bu proje uluslararası alanda politik, ekonomik ve turizm etkileri olabilecek güçlü yan etkilere sahiptir. Bu tez çalışmasında, Yeni İpek Yolu'nun Türkiye turizmine olan katkısı, projede karşılaşabilecek engeller ve çeşitli faktörlerle turizmi etkileyebilecek Yeni İpek Yolunun etkileri, Türkiye turizmi açısından incelenerek, Türkiye turizmi çerçevesinde Yeni İpek Yolu'nun önemi vurgulanmak istenmiştir. Yeni İpek Yolu ve turizm ilişkisi ele alınırken konu ile ilişkin kitap, makale, dergi ve tez gibi eserlerden kapsamlı literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Geçmişten günümüze İpek Yolu'nun tarihsel gelişiminden başlanarak politika, ekonomi ve özellikle turizm ekseni üzerinden değerlendirilmede bulunulmuştur. Bu açıdan tez çalışmasında, verilerin analiz yöntemi olarak nitel araştırma tekniklerinden betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Tez kapsamında Yeni İpek Yolu ve Türkiye turizmi ilişkisi politik ve ekonomik verilerden yararlanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Veriler değerlendirildikten sonra GZFT (Güçlü, Zayıf Yönler, Fırsatlar ve Tehditler) analiz teknikleri kullanılarak Türkiye turizmi, Yeni İpek Yolu çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, Yeni İpek Yolu'nun Türkiye turizminin gelişmesi açısından oldukça önemli bir fırsat yaratabileceğine işaret etmektedir. Turizm, politika ve ekonominin uyumlaştırılması, Yeni İpek Yolu'nun Türkiye turizmine olumlu etkilerini arttırmak için kilit rol oynamaktadır. Türkiye turizminin, Yeni İpek Yolu sayesinde turizm pazarı olanaklarını arttırması ve Hollanda hastalığının son bulunması açısından önemli bir fırsat olduğu öngörülmektedir.

The New Silk Road is a part of China's“One Belt One Road”project. China wants to revive this project, which may have tourism, political and economic effects, with nations affected by the Historical Silk Road. The important aspect of this project is holding political, economic and tourism effects in the international arena due to its strong historical roots. In this thesis, the contribution of the New Silk Road to Turkey's tourism, the obstacles that may be encountered in this project, the effects of New Silk Road which may affect tourism with various factors were examined in terms of Turkish tourism and it's aimed to emphasize the importance of New Silk Road within the framework of Turkish tourism. In discussion the relationship between the New Silk Road and tourism, comprehensive literature review was made from books, journals, articles and thesis related to the subject. Research starts from historical development of Silk Road from past till present, which shows evaluates on the axis of economy, politics and especially tourism. In this respect, descriptive analysis, one of the qualitative research techniques, is used as a data analysis method in the thesis study. Within the scope of the thesis, the relationship between the New Silk Road and Turkey tourism has been evaluated by using political and economic data. After evaluating the data, Turkish tourism was examined within the framework of the New Silk Road by using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis techniques. The results indicate that the New Silk Road can create a very important development opportunity for Turkish tourism. The harmonization of tourism, politics and economy plays a key role in increasing the positive effects of the New Silk Road on Turkish tourism. It is foreseen that within the shadow of New Silk Road, opportunities will increase in Turkey's tourism market and an end point for Dutch disease in tourism of Turkey as well.
