Özet
Bu çalışmada 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılı Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde bulunan bir ilimizde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı [MEB]' in 7. sınıf matematik ders kitaplarında yer alan görevlerin mantıksal akıl yürütme yönüyle ilişkisinin araştırılması ve mantıksal akıl yürütmeye yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinin alınması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada 7. Sınıf matematik ders kitabının içeriği doküman incelemesi kapsamında ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiş ve kodlanmıştır. Kodlama sonuçları ile elde edilen veriler yüzde-frekans tabloları kullanılarak 7. Sınıf matematik ders kitabındaki görevlerin mantıksal akıl yürütme açısından zenginliği ve çeşitliliği ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca, kitapta bulunan görevlerin mantıksal akıl yürütme açısından uygulama durumlarını değerlendirme amacına yönelik olarak 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde bulunan bir ilin devlet okullarında görev yapan yedi ilköğretim matematik öğretmeniyle yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, 7. sınıf matematik ders kitabında 532 görev tespit edilmiştir. Bunların 187 tanesi (%36) alıştırma, 219 tanesi (%40) örnek soru, 22 tanesi (%4) problem, 13 tanesi (%2) etkinlik ve 91 tanesi (%18) ünite değerlendirmeden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda, 7. Sınıf ders kitabındaki mantıksal akıl yürütme yönünden öğrencinin kendi yöntem ve stratejilerini ortaya koyacak görevlerin az olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Verilen örnek sorular, alıştırmalar, ünite değerlendirmesi gibi görevlerde öğrencilerin hazır olarak sunulan strateji ve yöntemleri kullanarak benzer problemlerde çözüm yolu geliştirmesinin beklendiği görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, 7. Sınıf ders kitabının öğrencilerin kendi akıl yürütme ve stratejilerini geliştirmesine yönelik imkân ve fırsat sağlama açısından yeterli olmadığı değerlendirilmiştir.

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between the tasks in the 7th grade mathematics textbooks of the Ministry of National Education [MEB] in a province located in the South-Southeastern Anatolia Region in the 2021-2022 academic year and to get the opinions of teachers on logical reasoning. In the research, the content of the 7th grade mathematics textbook was examined in detail within the scope of document analysis and coded. The richness and diversity of the tasks in the 7th grade mathematics textbook in terms of logical reasoning were revealed by using the percentage-frequency tables of the data obtained with the coding results. In addition, semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven primary school mathematics teachers working in public schools in a province in the Southeastern Anatolia Region in the 2021-2022 academic year, in order to evaluate the application situations of the tasks in the book in terms of logical reasoning. According to there search findings, 532 tasks were identified in the classroom maths text book. 187 of them (36%) are exercises, 219 (40%) sample questions, 22 (4%) problems, 13 (2%) activitiesand 91 (18%) units are evaluated. As a result of the research, it was seen that there were few questions that would reveal the student's own method and strategy in terms of logical reasoning in the 7th grade textbook. The questions measure the information about the processing skill rather than forcing to students to think. The tasks such as sample questions, exercises, unit evaluation that was given in the textbook, students are asked to solve similar problems by using the existing methods and strategies.As a result, it was conculded that the 7th grade textbook is not sufficient enough to provide opurrtunities to develop students own startegies and methods.
