Özet
Bu araştırmanın asıl amacı, başarı hedeflerinin türü ve ebeveyn tutumlarının akademik motivasyonla ilişkisini incelemektir. Araştırma grubunun başarı hedeflerinin türünde, ebeveyn tutumlarında ve akademik motivasyon düzeylerinde cinsiyet, lise türü ve anne-baba medeni durumlarına göre oluşabilecek farkların incelenmesi ise araştırmanın alt amaçlarındandır. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda ilişkisel tarama modeli araştırma yöntemi olarak kullanılmıştır. Ankara'daki çeşitli liselere ve özel öğretim kursuna devam eden toplam 364 üniversiteye hazırlık öğrencisi bu çalışmanın araştırma grubunu oluşturmuştur (Yaş: X̅=17,5 ss=1,057). Araştırmanın katılımcıları, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, 3 x 2 Başarı Hedef Modeli Ölçeği, Anne Baba Tutum Ölçeği ve Akademik Güdülenme Ölçeği'ni çevirimiçi formlar aracılığıyla doldurmuştur. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Başarı hedeflerinin türü ve ebeveyn tutumlarının akademik motivasyonla ilişkisinin incelenmesi için Pearson korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Başarı hedeflerinin türü, ebeveyn tutumu ve akademik motivasyon düzeyinde cinsiyete göre oluşabilecek farkların incelenmesi için bağımsız gruplar t testi uygulanmıştır. Lise türü ve anne-baba medeni durumuna göre oluşabilecek farkların incelenmesi için ise tek faktörlü ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Bu analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin başarı hedeflerinin türü ve ebeveyn tutumu ile akademik motivasyon düzeyi arasında anlamlı düzeyde ilişki olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Öğrencilerin başarı hedeflerinin türünde cinsiyet, lise türü ve anne-baba medeni durumuna göre bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Ancak ebeveyn tutumlarında cinsiyet ve anne baba medeni durumuna göre fark olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Öte yandan ebeveyn tutumlarının öğrencilerin lise türüne göre farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür. Son olarak öğrencilerin akademik motivasyon düzeylerinde cinsiyet, lise türü ve anne-baba medeni durumuna göre bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Bulgular, literatürdeki araştırmalar bağlamında tartışıldıktan sonra araştırmanın sonuçları ifade edilmiş ve gelecekte yapılacak araştırmalar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The main purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between the type of achievement goals and parental attitudes and academic motivation. Examining the differences that may occur in the type of success goals, parental attitudes and academic motivation levels of the research group according to gender, high school type and marital status of the parents is one of the sub-objectives of the research. For these purposes, the relational survey model was used as a research method. A total of 364 university preparatory students attending various high schools and private education courses in Ankara constituted the research group of the study (Age: X̅=17.5 sd=1,057). The participants of the study filled the Personal Information Form, the 3 x 2 Achievement Goal Model Scale, the Parent Attitude Scale and the Academic Motivation Scale via online forms. The obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS program. Pearson correlation analysis was applied to examine the relationship between the type of achievement goals and parental attitudes and academic motivation. Independent groups t test was applied to examine the differences that may occur according to gender in the type of achievement goals, parental attitude and academic motivation level. Single factor ANOVA was used to examine the differences that may occur according to the type of high school and the marital status of the parents. As a result of these analyzes, it was revealed that there is a significant relationship between the type of students' achievement goals, parental attitude and academic motivation level. It was observed that there was no difference in the type of achievement goals of the students according to gender, high school type and marital status of the parents. However, it was found that there was a difference in parental attitudes according to gender and marital status of parents. On the other hand, it was observed that parental attitudes did not differ according to the high school type of the students. Finally, it was seen that there was no difference in the academic motivation levels of the students according to gender, high school type and marital status of the parents. After the findings were discussed in the context of the studies in the literature, the results of the research were expressed and suggestions were made for future research.
