Özet
Etkili öğrenme ve kalıcı bilgilerin sağlanmasında müzeler önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Ancak müze, bireysel özgün düşünme becerilerini ve yaratıcılığı geliştirmek için bütün bir alandır. Öğrenciler okul ortamının dışında farklı yerlerde daha meraklı, ilgili ve heyecanlı hale gelirler. Müzelerin toplama, sergileme, koruma ve depolama işlevlerinin yanı sıra eğitim işlevleri de özellikle gelişmiş ülkelerde önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Kitaplar uzun zamandır öğretimin temeli olsa da, çağdaş yaşamın bize aktardığı bir gerçek, üç boyutlu nesnelerin öğrenmedeki rolünün önemidir. Bunun da ötesinde müzeler, zamanla içerdikleri eserleri depolamanın ötesine geçen bir eğitim işleviyle, kendilerini insanlara aktaran kurumlar haline geleceklerdir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilkokul görsel sanatlar eğitiminde sanal müze kullanımının öğrenci başarısına etkisini örnek saha çalışması ile analiz etmektir. İlkokul görsel sanatlar eğitiminde sanal müze kullanımının öğrenci başarısına etkisini incelemek için Ankara ili Çankaya ilçesinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı Ahmet Vefik Paşa İlkokulunda öğrenim gören 4. Sınıf öğrencileri üzerinde saha çalışması yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda deney grubunun ön test ve son test başarı puanları arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu görülmüştür. Buna göre, sanal müze turunun deney grubunun başarı puanlarının artmasında önemli ölçüde etkisi olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan sanal müze turunun bir etkinlik kapsamında sunulmasıyla öğretim yapıldığı deney grubu ile betimleyici anlatımla öğretim yapılan kontrol grubunun son test başarı puanlarına göre anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu görülmüştür. Buna göre, sanal müze turu betimleyici anlatıma göre daha etkili olduğu anlaşılmıştır.

Museums play an important role in providing effective learning and permanent information. However, the museum is a whole space for developing individual original thinking skills and creativity. Students become more curious, interested and excited in different places outside the school environment. In addition to the collection, exhibition, preservation and storage functions of museums, educational functions also have an important position, especially in developed countries. Although books have long been the basis of teaching, one fact that contemporary life has conveyed to us is the importance of the role of three-dimensional objects in learning. Moreover, museums will become institutions that convey themselves to people with an educational function that goes beyond storing the works they contain over time. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the use of virtual museums in primary school visual arts education on student success with a sample field study. In order to examine the effect of the use of virtual museums in primary school visual arts education on student success, a field study was conducted on 4th grade students studying at Ahmet Vefik Paşa Primary School under the Ministry of National Education in Çankaya, Ankara. As a result of the research, it was seen that there was a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test achievement scores of the experimental group. Accordingly, it was understood that the virtual museum tour had a significant effect on the increase in the achievement scores of the experimental group. By presenting the virtual museum tour participating in the research as part of an activity, it was seen that there was a significant difference according to the post-test achievement scores of the experimental group, which was taught, and the control group, which was taught with descriptive narration. Accordingly, it was understood that the virtual museum tour was more effective than the descriptive narrative.
