Özet
Bu tezin temel amacı Türk–Alman göçmenlerinin Türkiye'ye geri dönüş göçü ve Türk eğitim sistemine uyum sürecinde edindiği deneyimlere ve karşılaştığı zorluklara ilişkin görüşlerini incelemek ve bu zorluklarla baş edebilmek için olası çözümler ve öneriler sunmaktır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada Almanya'dan Türkiye'ye göç eden lise öğrencileriyle yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Görüşmeler, salgın süreci sebebiyle, uzaktan çevrimiçi görüşme yöntemiyle yapılmıştır. Araştırma deseni olarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan, kişilerin yaşanmış deneyimlerinin özünü açıklamaya çalışan olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları katılımcıların eğitim hayatlarında edindikleri geçmiş deneyimlerinin, kullandıkları dilin farklılığı ve ulusötesi bağların göçmenlerin uyum sürecini etkilediğini göstermiştir. Göçmen çocukların eğitim sistemine uyum süreçlerinin sosyal çevreye uyum süreçleri kadar kolay olmamaktadır. Katılımcıların eğitim sistemine uyum sürecinde karşılaştıkları zorluklar incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda mevcut literatürden ve geri dönen göçmenlerin yaşadığı problemlerden yola çıkarak bazı öneriler sunulmuştur. Özellikle dil sorunlarının giderilmesi amacıyla rehberlik hizmetleri geliştirilebilir ve çeşitli oryantasyon etkinlikleri dönüş öncesi değişim programları ve Eğitim-Öğretime hazırlık kursları oluşturulabilir.

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the opinions of Turkish-German immigrants about the experiences and difficulties they faced during the process of return migration to Turkey and adaptation to the Turkish education system, and to offer possible solutions and suggestions to cope with these difficulties. In this study, in which qualitative research methods were used, semi-structured interviews were conducted with high school students who migrated from Germany to Turkey. Interviews were conducted by remote online interview method due to the epidemic process. The phenomenology design, which is one of the qualitative research methods and tries to explain the essence of people's lived experiences, was used as the research design. The results of the research showed that the past experiences of the participants in their education life, the difference in the language they use and the transnational ties affect the adaptation process of the immigrants. The adaptation process of immigrant children to the education system is not as easy as the adaptation process to the social environment. The difficulties faced by the participants in the process of adapting to the education system were examined. At the end of the study, some suggestions were presented based on the existing literature and the problems experienced by the returning immigrants. Guidance services can be developed especially in order to eliminate language problems and various orientation activities, exchange programs before return and education preparation courses can be created.
