Özet
La question chypriote est l'une des crises dans lesquelles les effets de la guerre froide sont les plus apparents. Chypre, considérée comme le Cuba de la Méditerranée orientale, a été le théâtre d'une lutte d'influence entre les États-Unis d'Amérique et l'Union soviétique entre 1960 et 1974, qui a duré de la création de la République de Chypre à l'intervention de la Turquie sur l'île. Dans cette étude, le problème de Chypre a été examiné dans le cadre de la Guerre froide plutôt que comme un conflit ethnique turco-grec, et une réponse a été recherchée à la question de savoir comment les deux superpuissances ont affecté et façonné ce problème. A cette fin, tout en se concentrant sur les relations de la Turquie, de la Grèce et de la République de Chypre avec les deux superpuissances, les politiques d'acteurs tels que Makarios III, Henry Kissinger ont été analysées.

The Cyprus question is one of the crises in which the effects of the Cold War are most apparent. Cyprus, considered as the Cuba of the Eastern Mediterranean, was the scene of a struggle for influence between the United States of America and the Soviet Union between 1960 and 1974, which lasted from the creation of the Republic of Cyprus to Turkey's intervention on the island. In this study, the Cyprus problem was examined within the framework of the Cold War rather than as a Turkish-Greek ethnic conflict, and an answer was sought to the question of how the two superpowers affected and shaped this problem. To this end, while focusing on the relations of Turkey, Greece and the Republic of Cyprus with the two superpowers, the policies of actors such as Makarios III, Henry Kissinger were analyzed.
