Özet
Bu yüksek lisans tezi kapsamında Niğde İli' nde işlevini sürdüremeyen ve kullanıcı kimliğini kaybetmiş kültürel miras varlıkları incelenmektedir. Bölgede meydana gelen kimlik değişimi, dini yapıları, sivil mimarlık örneklerine kıyasla daha fazla etkilemiştir. Bakımsızlık, terk, bayındırlık faaliyetleri ve Vandalizm gibi etkenler, bölgedeki tarihi yapılarının zarar görmesine neden olmakta, varlığını ve özgünlüğünü tehdit etmektedir. Kültürel miras alanlarının sürdürülebilirliğinin sağlanması için; mevcut durum tespitinin yapılması, koruma önlemleri ve gerekli durumlarda yeni işlev önerilmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda Niğde'de bulunan 19. Yüzyıl Kiliseleri çalışma konusu olarak seçilmiştir. 1923 Nüfus Mübadelesi neticesinde bölgedeki kilise yapıları, kullanıcı kimliğini kaybetmiş ve işlevsiz hale gelmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında Kültürel Mirası Koruma Derneği tarafından hazırlanan '' Niğde'' çalışması ve '' Niğde İl Kültür Envanteri'' kaynakları aracılığıyla belirlenen 29 kilise incelenmiştir. Seçilen kiliselerin belgelenmiş bu sayede koruma durumları ve sorunlarının tespiti yapılmıştır. Terk, işlev değişikliği, bakımsızlık ve vandalizm gibi faktörlerin kilise yapılarına etkileri ortaya konulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler neticesinde yeni işlev verilerek kullanımı ve bakımı sağlanan yapıların xviii işlevsiz kalan yapılara oranla koruma durumlarının daha iyi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sebeple Hasaköy Kilisesi'ne yeni işlev önerisi getirilmiştir. Yeniden işlevlendirme önerisi, ulusal ve uluslararası koruma tüzükleri ve konferanslar incelenerek, gerekli literatür araştırması yapılarak, çağdaş koruma kuramına uygun bir şekilde, günümüzde bölgede yaşamını devam ettiren halkın ihtiyaçlarına uygun olarak tasarlanmıştır.

Within the scope of this master's thesis, cultural heritage assets that could not function and lost their user identity in Niğde Province are examined. The identity change that occurred in the region affected the religious structures more than the examples of civil architecture. Factors such as neglect, abandonment, public works and vandalism cause damage to historical buildings in the region and threaten their existence and authenticity. In order to ensure the sustainability of cultural heritage sites; It is of great importance to determine the current situation, to propose protection measures and, when necessary, to propose a re-use. In this context, the 19th Century Churches in Niğde were chosen as the subject of study. As a result of the 1923 Population Exchange, the church buildings in the region lost their user identity and became dysfunctional. Within the scope of the study, 29 churches determined through the“Niğde”study prepared by the Cultural Heritage Preservation Association and the“Niğde Provincial Cultural Inventory”resources were examined. The selected churches were documented, and their conservation status and problems were determined. The effects of factors such as abandonment, change of function, neglect and vandalism on church structures have been revealed. As a result of the data obtained, it has been determined that the protection status of the buildings, which are used and maintained by giving a re-use, is better than the buildings that remain dysfunctional. For this reason, a re-use proposal has been brought to the Hasaköy Church. The re-functionalization xx proposal was designed in accordance with the needs of the people living in the region today, in accordance with contemporary conservation theory, by examining national and international conservation regulations and conferences, by making necessary literature research.
