Özet
Küreselleşen ticaret koşullarında firmalar müşterilerin taleplerine cevap verebilmek adına sürekli rekabet içine girmiştir. İnternet satışlarının da yaygınlaşmasıyla işletmeler için esneklik oldukça önem kazanmıştır. Artan hammadde fiyatları ve değişken taleplere karşın firmalar stok tutmadan üretim yapmaya çalışmaktadır. Sipariş teslimatında uzun süreler beklemek istemeyen müşteriler ve stok maliyetleri göz önüne alındığında işletmelerin amacı tam zamanında üretim yapmak olmuştur. Tam zamanında stoksuz üretim yapmanın yolu yalın bir üretimden geçmektedir. Yalın üretim ve sürekli iyileştirme sayesinde üretimde rol alan tüm birimler kendini sürekli yenileyerek dinamik tutmaktadır. Yalın üretim sistemleri fabrikalarda israflardan arındırılmış, yüksek verim ve performans ile sadece katma değer yaratan faaliyetlere odaklanmaktadır. Yalın üretimin temelleri önceki yıllara dayansa da hala önemini koruyan bir yapıya sahiptir. Yalın dönüşüm sadece üretim sistemi olmaktan çıkıp üniversitelerde derslerde anlatılan bir israfla mücadele felsefesi haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle yalın üretim kavramı hakkında bilgi verilmiş, uygulama teknikleri açıklanmıştır. Çalışmada yalın üretim teknikleri detaylandırılmıştır. Değer nedir? Müşteri için değer yaratmak nedir? Sorularına yanıtlar verilmiştir. Bir yalın üretim tekniği olarak kullanılan değer akış haritalama tekniği ile müşteri için katma değer yaratan faaliyetler ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Üretim sistemleri içerisinde siparişe dayalı atölye tipi üretim detaylandırılmıştır. Siparişe göre az hacimde çok çeşitli üretim kavramı hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Uygulama yapılan işletme için mevcut ve gelecek durum haritaları ile israflar tespit edilip çeşitli Kaizen'ler ile proseslerde ve akışta gerekli iyileştirmeler önerilmiştir.

In globalizing trade conditions, companies have entered into constant competition in order to respond to customers demands. With the spread of internet sales, flexibility has become very important for businesses. Despite increasing raw material prices and variable demands, companies try to produce without holding stock. Considering the customers who do not want to wait for a long time in order delivery and the increasing stock costs, the aim of the enterprises has been to produce just in time. The way to make just-in-time stock-free production is through lean production. Thanks to lean production and continuous improvement, all units involved in production keep themselves dynamic by constantly renewing themselves. Lean manufacturing systems focus on activities that are free from waste in factories and that create only added value with high efficiency and performance. Although the foundations of lean production date back to previous years, it still has a structure that maintains its importance. Lean transformation has ceased to be a production system only and has become a philosophy of combating waste, which is taught in lectures at universities. In this study, first of all, information about the concept of lean production is given and application techniques are explained. Lean manufacturing techniques are detailed in the study. What is the value? What is creating value for the customer? These questions were answered. With the value stream mapping technique, which is used as a lean manufacturing technique, activities that create added value for the customer have been revealed. Jobshop type production based on order is detailed within the production systems. Information is given about the concept of a high mix of production in low volumes to order. Wastes were identified with current and future state value stream maps for the enterprise where the application was made, and necessary improvements in processes and flow were suggested with various Kaizens.
