Özet
Çalışmamız açık kalp cerrahisi geçiren hastaların ameliyat öncesi ve sonrası dönemlerde yaşam kalitesi, fonksiyonel kapasiteleri ve kavrama yönünden incelenmesi amaçlanarak planlandı. Çalışmaya açık kalp ameliyatı geçiren 40-70 yaşları arasında hastalar oluşturmuştur. Çalışmaya 31 hastadan oluşmuştur. Çalışmaya dahil edilen hastalar cerrahi öncesi, cerrahi sonrası taburculuk aşaması ve taburculuk sonrası ilk poliklinik kontrolü (taburculuktan 3 hafta sonra) dönemlerde değerlendirildi. Katılımcılar, yaşam kalitesi (SF-36), ağrı değerlendirmesi, solunum fonksiyon testi, fonskiyonel kapasite ölçüm testleri ve el kavrama gücü değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirme sonucunda SF-36 yaşam kalitesi ölçeğinde follow up 3 rd week döneminde diğer dönemlere kıyasla en yüksek yaşam kalitesi değerlerine ulaşılmıştır (p<0,05). Solunum fonksiyon değerlendirmesinde en yüksek değer, preop döeneminde en düşük değere ise postop döneminde bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Fonksiyonel kapasite değerlendirme testlerinde time up and go (TUG) testinde follow up 3. week ölçümü, diğer periyotlardan düşük bulunmuş ve preop ve postop discharge dönemleri ise benzer olduğu görülmüştür (p<0,05). Diğer bir fonksiyonel kapasiteyi değerlendiren 30- second chair testinde postop ölçümü, diğer dönemlerden düşük bununla birlikte preop ve follow up 3.week periyotları ise benzer bulunmuştur. El kavrama kuvvetinin değerlendiren testte en yüksek değer, preop periyodunda ve en düşük değer ise postop discharge periyodunda bulunmuştur (p<0,05) Açık kalp ameliyatı sonrası kişinin yaşam kalitesi, solunum fonksiyonları, fonksiyonel kapasitesi, el kavrama gücü değerlendirilerek daha uzun süreli takiplerin yapılması gerekmektedir

Our study was planned to examine the quality of life, functional capacity and comprehension of patients who underwent open heart surgery in the preoperative and postoperative periods. The study consisted of patients between the ages of 40 and 70 who underwent open heart surgery. The study consisted of 31 patients. The patients included in the study were evaluated in the pre-surgery, post-surgical discharge stage and first polyclinic control after discharge (3 weeks after discharge). Participants were evaluated for quality of life (SF-36), pain assessment, pulmonary function test, functional capacity measurement tests and hand grip strength. As a result of the evaluation, the highest quality of life values were reached in the SF-36 quality of life scale in the following up 3rd week period compared to other periods (p<0.05). In pulmonary function assessment, the highest value was found in the preop period and the lowest value was found in the porest period (p<0.05). In the functional capacity assessment tests, the follow-up 3rd week measurement in the time up and go (TUG) test was found to be lower than the other periods and the preop and postoperative discharge periods were found to be similar (p<0.05). In the 30-second chair test, which evaluates another functional capacity, the postop measurement was lower than the other periods, while the preop and follow-up 3rd week periods were found to be similar. In the test that evaluated the hand grip force, the highest value was found in the preop period and the lowest value was found in the postop discharge period (p<0.05). After open heart surgery, the quality of life, respiratory functions, functional capacity, hand grip strength of the person should be evaluated and longer-term follow-ups should be made.
